LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius

The property is modern and luxurious, with a large and clean room. The buffet restaurant is a definite highlight, offering a good and varied selection of international food. There are also many free services and activities available. A convenient feature is the complimentary courtesy room for showering after check-out. The downsides were the sea (clarity) or rather the swimming area (delimited by buoys). Out of 5 days, the water was only clear on the last day. The other days, probably due to wind and currents, the water was very murky. Aside from the clarity, another negative factor we found was the effect of the tides. At low tide, the swimming area almost completely disappears.

So many pleasant surprises! I'll recommend LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius to every friend going on their honeymoon.

Excellent hotel. Good breakfast. Excellent service. Attentive staff. Thank you.

The room is clean and the service is attentive.

Magnificent, luxurious hotel! Wonderful, perfect beach. Well-maintained grounds, splendid views. Very delicious food and excellent entertainment. I consider this hotel the best in Mauritius. I definitely recommend it to everyone and would gladly return myself.

The hotel's location is excellent, and security is great with staff guarding the entrance at all times. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and there are plenty of water activities. The room itself is clean and tidy.

Almost perfect hotel, with a great pool. The breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful and offered a huge variety of dishes. The only downside was that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms wasn't very good.
