The Axon @ Bukit Bintang

This is our second time staying at Axon Bukit Bintang, and we absolutely love it! The location is very strategic, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It’s super convenient, with a 7-Eleven just next door. Pavilion, TRX, Lot 10, and many other shopping malls are all within walking distance, just a few minutes away. My family and I really enjoy staying here because of its convenient location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in KL! 😊

The location was excellent and very convenient. However, the cleanliness was below acceptable standards and definitely needs improvement. I would still recommend this place to travelers who prioritize a great location and are looking for budget-friendly accommodation.

Great location with easy access to train, night market and local sights. Very walkable. Facilities were amazing with incredible skyline views - we loved the rooftop pool. Actual room was spacious and clean (though bathroom did have a drain-like odour). Hosts were accommodating with a towel change as they were a bit grubby at first. But customer service was good. Lifts can be slow so allow time.

This charming home perfectly blends beauty and comfort. The bright, open living spaces are bathed in natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Elegantly decorated with stylish furnishings and cozy accents, every room feels like a peaceful sanctuary. It is an extraordinary, inviting retreat that thoughtfully combines modern aesthetics with true homelike warmth.

My second Time choosing this place when I travel to Kuala Lumpur. This place is behind Lot10 and walkable to TRX and Pavilion.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Staying at Axon Bukit Bintang was genuinely one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. Chaos at Check-In: There is no proper front desk or hospitality team—just a confusing maze of self-check-in instructions, lockboxes, and dozens of frustrated guests stranded in a crowded lobby.  The Elevator Wait from Hell: Prepare to waste a massive chunk of your vacation waiting for the lifts. They are painfully slow, perpetually overcrowded, and some are constantly out of service. When one finally arrives, half the time it’s packed or being used to haul trash.  Disgusting Hygiene and Maintenance: The room looked nothing like the polished photos. The bathroom reeked of dampness and had a half-clogged toilet. To top it all off, we found a cockroach crawling right near the doorstep.  Zero Service & Hidden Headaches: Because these are poorly managed makeshift Airbnb units, don't expect any actual service. We were hit with a hidden cash deposit request, given zero extra support, and told we had to throw away our own trash.  The only redeeming quality is that it’s walking distance to Pavilion, but trust me—save your peace of mind and book an actual hotel nearby. Never staying here again.

The hotel’s location is good, but unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. The elevators were extremely crowded, with very long waiting times, and they were also uncomfortably hot. The worst part was the parking fee. I stayed for only 3 nights but was charged an unbelievable RM181.26 for parking! This is an excessive and unreasonable amount. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the front desk did not clearly explain that the parking fee could be waived or provide proper instructions on how to do so. When I approached the counter for clarification, there was only a security staff member handling the enquiries. The staff was impatient and had a poor attitude when explaining the parking procedure. Instead of properly assisting a paying hotel guest, the explanation was given in an unfriendly and unhelpful manner. I find this level of service unacceptable. If there is a parking fee waiver available for hotel guests, the hotel should clearly inform guests about it during check-in and explain the procedure properly. I would therefore like the hotel management to review this matter and refund the RM181.26 parking fee charged to me, as I was not properly informed about the waiver procedure during my stay. Good location, but poor customer service, long elevator queues, hot elevators, excessive parking charges, and poor communication seriously affected my stay. I hope the management will take this complaint seriously and provide a reasonable resolution.
