They don’t speak English, the restaurants are slow, and the food quality is poor. Overall, it’s not good value for money.

Hotel Continental Balneario The hotel is located in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains with a stunningly beautiful mountainside backdrop which is absolutely picturesque. The hotel has an extensive spa with thermal baths. It has its own in house restaurant and other restaurants on site. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was a tasty buffet style offering a wide range of salad, hot meals and deserts. All the staff were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming. This is a pristine place to stay especially if you are touring the Pyrenees. A number of fellow motorcyclists were staying at the same time.

This hotel totally lacks atmosphere, it is more like a conference centre or school! Nowhere near the claimed 4 stars. Plus points Fantastic location Comfy beds Minus points Car park is 150 mtrs from the lobby Air con not switched on despite room temp at 24c Long waits at check in. Bar in vast space lacking any atmosphere. Restaurant buffet food ok but not great, the meat quality poor. No hot water when we arrived late afternoon.
