Homewood Suites by Hilton Windsor Locks Hartford

There was a giant ball of hair in the shower. tiny bed .. we were desperate for a place to sleep for 6 hours due to a delay in our flight. Definitely will never go back.

I was expecting a much cleaner room. There was what looked like BBQ sauce on the closet door in the kitchen, the drawers, the walls, and the bathroom doors, and walls. There was fried rice and rocks all over the floor, to include under one of the beds, greasy finger prints all over the microwave and refrigerator, cheeto or cheesy something on the bed, marker all over the inside of the bed sheet, tiny ants all over the floor (probably due to the food?) And to top it off? Our window in our living room area had a massive hole and crack in the glass. The staff was kind though. Housekeeping came and wiped things down when I asked for a housekeeper or new room. When we went back in not much had changed, cleaning wise, but I was not going to ask for them to come back, as I thought I had upset them from complaining, and we were only staying the one night. Only other complaint was the paper thin walls. We were on the ground floor of building 4, and for a solid 30 minutes someone upstairs was opening and closing their very heavy door in the middle of the night, which did not help my sleeping 6 month old..

Very clean everywhere; outside, community spaces and inside rooms.Our room was beautiful and spacious.The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good! I like that they had lots of healthy options. Looking forward to going back.

My experience at this hotel was not what I thought it was. I am a handicap person they put you away in the back building six which is the only building that has an elevator. Everything was unplugged garbage disposal was not working could not swim due to people taking over a dope head that was in the lobby scratching all over the place. and to cost almost $400 plus a 250 deposit. It should’ve been way better service than what it was.
