Hotel Best Sol d´or

This is our second stay at this hotel. The first was in May; we were returning from Andalusia and wanted to relax for ten days after our sightseeing. We were so pleased that we booked a 14-day stay for September right then and there. The cleanliness is impeccable, as is the courtesy and kindness of the manager, receptionists, restaurant staff and the lady cleaning rooms 260-276. Keeping breakfast dishes (like scrambled eggs and bacon) warm is a bit of a challenge, but everything else is excellent. Although the hotel has many rooms, it does not feel crowded. The location is ideal—close to the beach and the beautiful, wide new promenade that replaced the old street. There is also underground parking; while not very large, few guests arrive by car given the proximity to the airport and bus stops. Hotel Best Sol d'Or is far superior to many places along the Adriatic and Black Sea coasts that we have visited in recent years, offering greater comfort and better value for money. The hotel is welcoming to parents with small children and wheelchair users, with accessibility ensured by ramps, spacious elevators, and sliding doors. Small children can be tiring for some people (especially at mealtimes when there is a large group of them at once), but this is not the hotel's fault, but the fault of some careless parents.

My daughter & I stayed, the hotel is immaculately clean, the hotel staff are outstanding, the food was amazing so much choice. We’re booking to go back next year. This will be our go to holiday from now on. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

A Magical Family Holiday at Best Hotel in Salou ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Best Hotel in Salou for a week as a family of 10, and to say the service was exceptional would be an understatement. For a 4-star hotel, we genuinely received 5-star service from start to finish. The food was incredibly well prepared, beautifully seasoned and offered a fantastic variety of choices. There was something to suit different dietary requirements, and the restaurant staff were always kind and helpful when explaining ingredients and whether dishes were vegetarian or not. The whole hotel was impeccably clean, from the bedrooms and communal areas to the pool and toilets. We also loved the little play area for children, which was a lovely touch. What really stood out to us was how family-friendly and inclusive the hotel was. It was particularly well equipped for families with children who may have additional needs, learning difficulties or be neurodivergent. The staff were incredibly understanding, patient and welcoming, which made such a difference to our holiday. Every member of staff we encountered was fantastic. The reception team were excellent, the bar staff were brilliant, the restaurant team were so friendly, and even the chefs and food service staff were always happy to help. The pool area was another highlight. The lifeguards were attentive and did a great job looking after the children. The slides and other activities kept the kids entertained, while the main pool was a really good depth for children and felt comfortable for the whole family. Honestly, nothing really went wrong throughout our entire stay. It was a truly magical holiday, and we left feeling incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it so special. A huge thank you to all the staff at Best Hotel in Salou for looking after our family so wonderfully. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday and would happily recommend this hotel to other families. Great location, calm and relaxing even in August! Beautiful beach 3 minutes away. Lovely hotel, very modern and with a great pool fill of slides for kids and even adults! We loved it!

1. Booking & Outbound Transfer (Arrival) We booked an additional airport-to-hotel transfer. Upon arrival at the airport, after collecting our luggage, we waited about 40 minutes for all the other passengers. Then the journey took another 30 minutes, as the coach stopped at every hotel along the way. 2. Check-in & The Room We arrived at the hotel for a one-week stay with our family – my wife and our 18-month-old son. We received a clean room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room had two double beds and a crib. However, it was too cramped with all three beds – we couldn't move around, so we returned the crib and just pushed the two double beds together, which worked perfectly for us. The room also had an interesting interconnecting door system to the neighboring room – a great solution for families booking two separate rooms who want direct access between them. 3. Daily Life: The Pools The pool area was open from 10 AM to 7 PM. To secure sunbeds in the sun, guests started queuing at the gate from 9:30 AM. There were actually twice as many sunbeds as guests, and the shaded ones were almost always empty. The complex had 3 pools: a tiny one for babies not yet walking, a large one with depths from 1m to 1.5m, and a medium-sized one with a flat bottom (about 0.5m deep) featuring slides, fountains, and other attractions. Three lifeguards were on duty at all times, keeping everything safe and orderly. 4. Daily Life: Food & All-Inclusive Dining The food was very tasty. Breakfast offered the same set of sides daily, but you could make your meal savory, sweet, or fruity – so there was something for everyone. For lunch, most vegetables were repeated every day, but the meat dishes changed daily. Dinner followed a similar pattern – same vegetable sides, but some of the meat options were different each day. Coffee from the machine and juices were only available during breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we had to order drinks from the waiters; a flyer on each table listed all the alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and you could pay extra if a drink wasn't covered by all-inclusive. A special shout-out to the chef from Nigeria, Daniel, and to the lovely, smiling waitresses from Ukraine and Russia, who worked together seamlessly despite the political divisions. 5. Daily Life: The Bar The bar was located on the ground floor by the pool/stage area. Sometimes the queue took up to 15 minutes because all-inclusive and non-all-inclusive guests stood in the same line. There was a self-service dispenser for non-alcoholic drinks and a tap for beer and sweet wine (probably sangria) for all-inclusive guests. For other spirits like whiskey (4 types), vodka (several kinds), rum, brandy, coffee, and juice – also available to all-inclusive guests – we had to wait in the same queue. There was also a wider premium range of alcohols available at a discounted extra charge for AI guests, or at full price for non-AI. There were at most 3 bartenders (or fewer), working incred

Brilliant little break lovely clean hotel nice pool area and water park plenty of sunloungers mini club for the kids to use throughout the day food caters for all tastes we went full board but drinks were reasonable priced evening g entertainment not the best but least there is a bit of something maybe later in season there will be more great location right near the beach the promenade is great for kids with parks all Along would recommend and we will be back next time for longer
