The room layout is great, with a Southeast Asian touch. There are plenty of activities, just remember to book them in advance. Breakfast offers a good variety, and you can sleep in a bit as it's available until 11 AM. The overall ambiance inside the hotel is fantastic. To get to the beach, you have to walk from the back, crossing a small road, but there are staff directing traffic to ensure guest safety, which is a thoughtful touch.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I had breakfast twice and dinner twice. The beachfront restaurant offers à la carte breakfast, everything is freshly made. For dinner at the beachfront restaurant, it's wonderful to go at sunset, feel the sea breeze, watch the waves, and listen to the DJ. You absolutely must try their sweet potato dessert – it's amazing. At the hotel's main restaurant, the breakfast is a very rich buffet; in fact, it's so abundant. My favorite was the almond milk, which quickly ran out. For dinner at the main restaurant, the Indonesian fried rice was quite good, and I don't remember what else I ate, but it was all decent. However, be aware that there are only two shuttle services, at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, so don't miss them, or you'll have to take a taxi. Remember to exit near the lobby to go to the nearby supermarket. There's also a BIOSpa within walking distance, which is very affordable and offers good service; a one-hour massage cost about 70 RMB. My room was on the third floor, and I could see the sea peeking through the palm trees. The room wasn't damp, and after I left a tip, housekeeping made us a super cute large sea turtle out of towels. Just cross a small road from the hotel's swimming pool and you're on the beach! The beach is absolutely stunning, with a beach like this, who needs a hotel pool? The hotel pool just isn't as appealing anymore.

Everything was great, except for the traffic in Bali. The hotel is just across a small street from the beach; although it's not a private beach, it's super convenient. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was beautiful. The service was excellent; I felt uncomfortable with a mural in my room, and they removed it immediately. Also, the late-night room service was high quality and affordable. Too bad I didn't have time to try the spa this trip.

I still can't get over my stay at Indigo... I'll recommend it to everyone I know. The ambiance is great, the service is spot on, and the food is delicious. Plus, room service is 24/7, so you can order a late-night snack without worrying about going hungry. Compared to the villa I moved to later, it's clear that for a staycation, hotels offer a much better experience. You absolutely HAVE to try the fried noodles at Sugarsand; they were the best I had during my entire trip to Bali. Now that I'm back home, I deeply regret not staying at Indigo for a few more days.

Beware! Beware! A very unpleasant stay! They are very unfriendly towards Chinese guests! They might seem polite on the surface, but the entire team has serious issues! Just check the number of reported lost items at this hotel! I bet it's far higher than other InterContinental hotels. 1. On the first day, I was accused of smoking in the room. Their manager informed me via private message that I'd be fined $350! It was as if I'd pieced together a cigarette pack and thrown it in the trash, with a pack of cigarettes on the table. Even when I went to the hotel restaurant, I respected local customs and asked where the smoking room was. If I hadn't been staying in the same room with my child and knew for a fact I hadn't smoked, I would have fallen for their trick. They know Chinese people will ask for a 'doubao' (bribe) and settle privately with cash! I directly told the front desk I would call the police! The front desk staff immediately changed their demeanor and said there was no problem. Remember, InterContinental fines must go through official channels with sufficient evidence! Don't trust them! 2. On the second day of my stay, after returning from swimming, 20 banknotes were missing from my wallet, which contained a total of 1.4 million VND. I had no evidence, so I had to swallow my anger. Fellow Chinese travelers, always keep your valuables with you! Or you could prepare a hidden camera! If something happens, don't go to their manager! Go straight to the police! They're all in it together! 3. On the last day, an Omega x Swatch joint children's watch went missing (it's not valuable; if it were a real Omega, it would probably be impossible to find)!!! We searched every corner before check-out! I distinctly remember putting it on the nightstand! The hotel informed us at 0:00 on the second day after check-out that a watch had been left behind! It makes you wonder! It sends shivers down my spine! 4. The Chinese server in the hotel restaurant had a very good attitude and spoke fluent Chinese. She treated me equally to the white guests. Friendly reminder! Chinese people should try to avoid staying at this hotel! They say one thing and do another. The difference in treatment between Chinese and white guests is quite significant. It's truly unsettling! Their schemes run deep!
