When checking in, I asked if I could pay extra to upgrade to a double bed since I had booked a single. The front desk staff said they couldn't change it because there were no more double rooms available. I pointed out that the Trip app was still showing double rooms for booking, and they replied that those were for other platforms, and I would have to book a new room. Their attitude was truly arrogant. Secondly: At breakfast, after finishing our food, our dishes and bowls weren't cleared. They piled up, and even after we asked them to clear them so we could get more food, no one came to clear them, even after we had finished eating and left.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is great, and the location near Bukit Bintang is super convenient for walking to the city center and Jalan Alor. Service: The service is also quite good; the staff are friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth with no queues, indicating they have ample staff. Facilities: The facilities are really quite mediocre. There were many spots in the bathroom sink; I'm not sure if they weren't cleaned properly before or if they're just difficult to remove by hand. What's more, for such a large hotel, it's unacceptable that they don't even provide complimentary bottled water. Parkroyal isn't a budget hotel, and yet many budget hotels offer bottled water. The fact that there's tap water in the bathroom isn't an excuse not to provide bottled water. When I called the front desk, if I remember correctly, they said a 500ml bottle was 28 ringgit! 😂 I hope your facilities can live up to the prices you charge. Btw: The gym equipment is decent, all Technogym, which is a plus.
