Berkshire Travel Lodge

The staff here is wonderful and helpful. The rooms are basic, clean beds, great shower with hot water. And Loves Truck stop is at the bottom of the hill for all your traveler needs. Most importantly, we felt safe there.

It was the cheapest alternative within a 20 miles radius of Tanglewood. So get what you pay for. It is an older motel so the condition is to be expected. For the price, it was worth the one night stay. Shower wasn't pretty but it worked. Staff was friendly enough. Continental breakfast was just old muffin type things that come in the plastic wrap.

The only reason I booked here was because the listing(photo and description) features a pool. After I checked in they said there has been no pool for over 4 years- false advertising!!

Staff were friendly and efficient. The bedding and towels were clean. The room was also swept. But the upkeep on the room was poor. There were children’s stickers on the wall and furniture that was only partially removed. Similarly, the bathroom was off putting to the point where we didn’t want to shower. Also, the smell of (maybe) cigarettes and cheap cleaning products made it hard to settle in and sleep. Luckily it is conveniently located to Tanglewood and cheaply priced.

If you just need a place to sleep after a Tanglewood performance, it is very convenient and the price is right. It is very “tired” though.

1. There is no pool even though the ad for the motel features a photo of one. 2. A mousetrap in the bathroom is never a good sign. 3. The furniture looks like it was purchased at a thrift store. 4. The walls of the bathroom need to be cleaned. There were unidentifiable splatters and a lot of bugs. 5. Very friendly person at the front desk.

Not well kept. Splatters of who knows what on the walls. Woodwork scratched by an animal? Looked like someone locked their dog in the bathroom and it tried to get out. I think the sheets and towels were clean. The bathroom looked okay but the shower curtain was mildewed. The person at the desk informed me that he did the housekeeping too and told me that people tip him.

Excellent staff and excellent service very nice and friendly environment. In the middle of the hill you will enjoy your stay over here. Excellent great fantastic marvelous spectacular.

This is an old and dirty property...never stay here again when on the Berkshires area.
