Longueville Manor

Excellent 3 night stay. Every member of staff is superb. Loved the professionalism & sense of humour. Our room was on the ground floor at front of the hotel. We had a private outdoor sitting area with table, chairs & loungers. Didn't have the time nor the weather to enjoy them but on another occasion that would be a nice space. Could vaguely hear mild traffic noise from time to time but not an issue for us. Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Loved that we had a bath (we never mind a shower over bath) & double sinks. Comfortable bed. 2 armchairs & plenty clothes hanging space. We had breakfast every morning. Excellent choices. Everything freshly prepared/cooked. First evening we arrived we ate from the bar menu. Second evening we had booked dinner in the dining room which was so enjoyable. We also had sunday lunch (which was fully booked on day we were there so worth prebooking). After breakfast, it was nice to walk around the grounds, beyond the swimming pool, through the vegetable garden, greenhouse, & more expansive grounds. We walked into St Helier one morning. It's along a busy road, so not a pretty walk, but there's pavement all the way so it's safe. It took us over 30 mins (avoiding the tunnel) to walk to the central bus station. There is a bus (number 2 I think) which passes the hotel. Taxi from airport was about £30. Taxi from hotel to bus station was about £13. We both really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly yet professional charm of the hotel staff. Only criticism, if forced to mention one, is that the carpet in the dining room really does need to be de-stained /replaced. Other than that we were completely happy.

We have stayed here many times before and always stay here when we are lucky enough to visit Jersey. There are many reasons for this; 1) Location, near to St Helier, but far enough away to be quiet. 2) Lovely gardens and sitting areas. 3) plenty of safe, off road parking. 4) Helpful and pleasant assistance when arriving. 5) The staff are without exception; helpful, friendly, capable and proficient. 6) Every room that we have occupied has been roomy, comfortable and well appointed. 7) Everywhere is spotless and well maintained. 8) The bar is calm and run by professional staff. 9) They have a comprehensive wine cellar. 10) The food is an absolute delight; imaginative, beautifully prepared and presented in a calm dining room, with many ingredients from their own garden. We shall return for visits as often as time, energy and pension permits. Thank you Longueville Manor.

This is a review that Presley, our Hungarian Vizsla who holidayed with us - would write if he could…. I was made more than welcome - I was made to feel at home! Almost all the staff somehow knew my name and that I loved sausages! (Particular shout out to Luca for all things culinary) I breakfasted with the couple I have as pets, and now and then hung out by the pool with them. The woodland walk made a perfect loop for me to stretch my legs and give my pets the opportunity to bag my business a few times - oh and then the beaches! (I think I’ve spelt that correctly!) Jersey was the perfect place for a dog to discover fresh adventure - and Longueville was the perfect location to be based for our week. Other humans that like me and I liked them…Michael, Daniella, Eamon, Anthony, and Guran all get my paws up!

What can I say other than thank you. We had an amazing stay at LM with our dog, Presley. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special, and that lasted the whole week. Presley was treated like a prince, and everyone loved him - totally spoiled. Room, pool, restaurant and food were excellent and the staff, led by the lovely Daniella, couldn’t do enough for you. We are hoping to return before too long with our children and grandchildren

Just completed our stay at the Longueville with my wife and 2 year old son and can honestly say it was absolutely perfect. The standard of everything is top notch, the room was excellent with the most comfortable bed I have stayed in. The staff were fabulous and the standard of food was as good as I have seen at a hotel. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future. You will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel.

Really lovely hotel with friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful gardens with a lovely swimming pool that had plenty of sunbeds around the pool and in the gardens making it easy to find a quiet spot. Excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Really enjoyed our four night stay and would definitely recommend.

Returning guests. Lovely hotel renowned for quality and service and doesn’t disappoint, nice to see some familiar faces within the team although this year quite a few new staff. We were upgraded to a lovely large room in the ground floor overlooking the rear garden with a private terrace. We enjoyed long lazy days by the swimming pool, in the sun, waiter service for drinks and cocktails and of course lunch. We stayed for dinner at the restaurant in the evening and the food was as excellent as ever. Great to read the longueville magazine to read about the owners, their plans and about the staff.

Cannot sing the praises of this hotel highly enough. The service we received from all staff was first class from the moment we arrived. Top marks to the chefs in producing excellent meals throughout our 5 night stay. Every aspect of our stay was 5 star.
