This hotel has a charming French ambiance and an unbeatable location. It's a mere 5-10 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph's Cathedral, surrounded by unique cafes, and also offers a glimpse into the daily life of ordinary Hanoians. The hotel facilities are elegant and pristine, the hygiene is excellent, and the breakfast offers a mix of Western and Vietnamese options. The staff are professional and friendly. On my check-in day, which was my birthday, the hotel even thoughtfully prepared a chocolate mousse to help me celebrate – truly a heartwarming touch. Highly recommend!

Stayed for five days and four nights, and the service was excellent. Every staff member was polite, especially the front desk lady who spoke Chinese. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, à la carte style. The cappuccino and iced americano were even better than Luckin Coffee! I had them every day. The location is super convenient, right in the old town with a fruit shop and massage parlor downstairs. If I come back, I'd most likely choose this hotel again. It's also great for traveling with kids.

The breakfast was delicious, and the pho was especially good. The room was also very nice. There are some fantastic local pho shops and fried dough stalls nearby that are really convenient. I tried the hotel spa, but it felt a bit lackluster and was pricier than other options. When they washed my hair, my shoulders got wet, and they didn't dry them off immediately or cover me. The air conditioning was also blowing too cold.

The service was excellent, and the rooftop restaurant offered stunning sunset views. Linh Pham, one of the hotel staff, was incredibly helpful and always politely asked if we needed assistance whenever she saw us. She booked water puppet show tickets for us, recommended fantastic restaurants, arranged spa appointments, and even scheduled a cyclo ride. Her service was thoughtful and reasonably priced, making our trip very enjoyable. The hotel is located on the liveliest street in the Old Quarter, just a stone's throw from Hoan Kiem Lake, with a night market right downstairs. A pleasant surprise was finding delicious fried squab at the market near the hotel entrance. My only complaint is that the balcony room I booked faced the street and was quite noisy. The garbage trucks in the early morning and the loudspeakers from the morning market woke me up multiple times.

The hotel has a unique style and warm service. The check-in process felt very ceremonial, showcasing a charming, European-inspired ambiance throughout. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 7-8 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. The room facilities are decent, though the only drawback was the bathroom floor drain, which didn't drain well, causing water to seep into the living area. The hotel staff were warm and courteous.
