Barceló Cabo de Gata

The rooms spotless the hotel the same The staff can’t do enough for you a special mention to Arkanza and josie just 2 of the staff that were faultless The hotel was very quiet and a great place to relax if you want loads of noise this hotel is not for you same with the surrounding areas but if you want somewhere to chill then this is the place

Too much information required on check in, presumably for marketing , no plug in bath, heating imposible to set, no interest or help from staff. Bar understaffed for food . No warning of car park charge, feels dishonest

Nice hogel and location. Menu at the restaurant was limited

Very clise to national park. Exceptionally tranquile. Stunning sense of space. Huge beach. Amazing shop in the hotel with a huge variety of products- clothing, shoes and usual gift items. Extremely well priced and authentic cafe and tapas nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Friendly reception staff. Upgraded on arrival. Lovely large suite with sofa & sea view

Overall, I liked my stay. The bed was comfortable and the proximity to the beach was great. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to find fresh food (e.g., groceries) within walking distance. Eating at the hotel's restaurant was the only option. The buffet was ok, but did not have as many healthy choices as I would have hoped. Also, there were some inconsistencies in pricing (the front desk mentioned 19 euros for the breakfast, my ******* booking said 10 euros, and I was charged either 10 or 15 depending on the day). The gym was also relatively nice, although the air conditioning did not work well. The windows were open the four times I went, and the room was very humid and hot, unfortunately.
