The surprise in Úbeda was staying in the garden room of the Úbeda Castle Hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 4 o'clock. Half of the area was under maintenance, but the front desk arranged a room with a garden for us, which was the best arrangement during this trip to southern Spain.

The bathroom wasn't particularly clean. The room fixtures were quite old and needed renovation, at least adding showers.

The location and the hotel were very good. Some parts of the room (lamps, for example) looked like they could be improved with a little investment. The breakfast, compared to other paradores, was weaker than average.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly with hair on the floor, grime on the hand hold for the bath and the shower screen was grubby. The ambiance was pleasant but the staff in the restaurant were brusque and not very helpful.

Parador delivers Amazing location and beautiful hotel. Úbeda is definitely worth visiting. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Front desk staff were very helpful, I forgot my charger and they provided a spare.
