Soho House Istanbul

An absolute favorite hotel of mine. It's gorgeous everywhere you look. The Italian restaurant is amazing—delicious food, stunning decor, and so photogenic. I went to the club two days in a row to watch the sunset 🌇; it was breathtaking. I probably took all of 180 photos there. Just posting a few randomly. There are simply too many to share all at once. You'll just have to go experience it for yourself!

The service was exceptionally good. I lost something, and they went back and forth to check the security footage to help me figure out where I dropped it.

First of all, I regret having to give your hotel a bad review. I want to preface this by saying that all the male staff members at your hotel were very professional and enthusiastic. However, there was a female staff member at the front desk (I will attach a photo) whose work attitude was absolutely terrible! It made me feel like it wasn't the kind of service attitude expected from a five-star hotel. Firstly, I asked this female employee if I could enter the adjacent Soho Club building for dining and a visit. She flat-out refused with a very poor attitude. I showed her social media posts from other guests, indicating that even just staying at the hotel allowed them to visit and dine at the Soho Club. This employee coldly replied that she 'didn't know' and 'it's just not allowed.' She then completely ignored me, busying herself with her computer without consulting or communicating with her superiors. Later, I went to the Soho Club building, and the reception staff at the entrance told me that I only needed authorization from the hotel front desk to enter. I then returned to the hotel and asked another male staff member. He readily agreed and granted me access. After I entered the building and made a purchase, the staff inside also asked if I was a member or staying at the hotel. When I replied that I was staying at the hotel, there were no issues whatsoever. This clearly demonstrates that hotel guests *can* enter the club building! So, I have to ask: do you have a consistent standard for your service and entry into the club building? Is it entirely dependent on the staff's mood, or is there no professional, standardized procedure? This female front desk staff member's attitude was so bad, it was like a street vendor hawking wares. Do you train your employees on attitude and communication skills for problem-solving? Why are all the other male staff members enthusiastic, yet she is utterly ill-mannered, completely lowering the hotel's standard? I hope this was her individual behavior and not the hotel authorizing different service standards for guests from different countries!

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My room type was changed without my consent upon check-in, and there's absolutely no service to speak of. The three security guards at the entrance were useless; they didn't help with luggage and wouldn't even let taxis stop at the door. The room itself was dimly lit, and the bathroom had extensive mold on the walls, making hygiene a serious concern. Overall, the stay was extremely poor, with both the service and facilities being severely substandard.

The hotel was very well decorated and had a great atmosphere. We arrived before check-in time and were able to access one of our reserved rooms. The staff were very attentive.
