Extremely Disappointing. Not Worth the Money Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, especially considering that we were on our honeymoon. We chose this hotel because of the private pool. The price was significantly higher than other options in the same area, so we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, we regretted our decision almost immediately. When we arrived at reception, we specifically asked a member of the hotel team whether the pool water temperature could be adjusted. We were told that it could. However, once we reached our villa, we were informed that the pool temperature could not be adjusted at all. The water was extremely cold, and as a result, we were unable to use the pool during our entire stay, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. There were also several smaller issues that, when combined, made the experience even more frustrating. We left the bathrobe on the floor because it needed to be cleaned. When housekeeping came, they simply picked it up and placed it back as if it were a fresh one, even though it was clearly the same used and dirty mat we had left on the floor. The hotel is also advertised as all-inclusive, but many items on the menu were unavailable. We frequently had to ask and check whether certain items were actually available, which was disappointing for an all-inclusive experience. What made things worse was the lack of proper follow-up. We raised our concerns, but the management team did not handle them in a way that made us feel heard or cared for. For a couple celebrating their honeymoon, we expected more attention to detail and much better service. None of these issues alone would have ruined our stay, but the accumulation of small problems, poor communication, and lack of follow-up made the entire experience frustrating. For the price we paid, this hotel was simply not worth it. There are many other options in the same area that offer better value and, based on our experience, I would strongly recommend exploring those alternatives before booking here. We genuinely regret choosing this hotel for our honeymoon.

An amazing hotel, with unforgettable experience great service and the amenities are perfect for a couples getaway. A perfect getaway to connect with nature and your loved ones. Would definitely want to return back. Special thanks to Salum ( our butler) for an amazing experience and taking such great care of us even when he was fasting for ramadan!

We stayed here for 4 days on our honeymoon & loved every second of it! From your arrival through departure, every member of the staff is so kind and welcoming. Salum was our butler & he was truly the best! He made sure everything was taken care of and made our stay extra special with the floating breakfast and dinner on the beach. Christina was our housekeeper & she was amazing, between flowers on the bed & ensuring we had everything taken care of. The food was also amazing, and we enjoyed being able to slow down after a week on safari. We hope to be back one day! Perfect place for honeymooners.

I´ve seen many beautiful places all over the world, but Kilindi tops all of them! The villas, the food, the spa, the people, the atmosphere,....,just every little detail. The whole team of Kilindi feels like family, and leaving this wonderful place was very hard for us. We came here for the last week of our honeymoon after safari in the mara and it was the PERFECT place to relax and unwind. The location is beautiful - with a private beach lovely pool area overlooking it. The rooms are incredible - we had our own plunge pool, a big lounge area, a huge washroom with a waterfall shower and amazing views of the surrounding jungle and sea. The food is also fantastic - lots of choice and a rotating tasting menu for dinner, with surprise beach dinners and sundowners. Finally, the staff are fantastic - so attentive and helpful - shout out to Saphina. You must come here for a special trip - and to see bush babies!

Very unique property on the beach. Rooms include a separate compound with several pools, terraces and a stand alone bathroom. Lovely rooms, excellent staff and food. A very romantic setting. Given the bathrooms involve stairs, for some would be inconvenient to use them in the middle of the night. They do have some rooms with additional powder rooms on same level as the bedroom. Overall was a very relaxing end for our safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. We highly recommend!

We had a lovely 4 days at Kilindi. The staff and service were amazing. The property is gorgeous and is the perfect mix of seclusion with proximity to Kendwa beach. Also, our meals were incredible. Highly recommend, and worth the trip from the airport.

We had the most amazing experience at this location. Salum was our butler for the week, and he was nothing short of incredible. He was attentive, patient, and remembered all the little things we enjoy to make our stay wonderful. They gave us so many special date nights too. The facility is stunning! Fredrick our room cleaner was so sweet and kind, our sweet was always beautifully decorated when we got back. Juma, was also so kind. He always took care of us at the beach, conversed with us, and met all of our needs. The staff is extraordinary!
