Chateau Saint Denis Hotel, a Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I was pleased with the nice room, quiet but potent a/c, up-to-date bathroom, cleanliness, luggage rack, comfy beds, courteous & friendly service. A highlight was breakfast- scrumptious eggs! Locations is the best!!! Natchitoches is wonderful place to visit & drink in Old South, Creole origins & Cane River Region history. Hope Wyndham pulls out the stops to keep this place together!

Rooms big and nice.  Bathroom clean. Breakfast very good.  No swimming pool disappointing. Great location. Good value

Beautiful hotel. Convenient location. Parking could be better by, putting up more visible signs for when you have to park across the street because the parking in the back of the hotel is full. A ramp or something is needed in the back entrance to allow customers with disabilities to get to the door. The stairs could be difficult for someone with a disability. No laundry room is available as specified. All staff was helpful, courteous and nice. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was delicious but restaurant was not open any other time. Bar opened at 5 pm but not stocked very well.

The hotel was clean and the server at breakfast provided the best customer service. Parking is limited and poses a threat to park so far from the hotel in lot B & C without any security in the area. Suggest you offer security and/or valet. Especially was not convenient being I am handicapped. -NO COFFEE CUP TOPS. This matters in my stay at a hotel. The coffee was good and the service was excellent but failure to provide coffee cup tops says you don’t value the importance of your customers. We will not stay in the hotel again due to the parking and lack of security.

Room was clean. Bed a little high for my wife. Staff very nice. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Lady serving in there was very nice and friendly. I thought the bar was a little pricey. We left for dinner. When we came back the lot was full. Drove around town for a bit, came back and got a great parking spot. Would stay again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and it is in an excellent location. You can walk to everything downtown and take a stroll along the river. We appreciated the hot breakfast every morning and refreshments at the bar when we returned to the hotel.

Overall, it was a very good stay. Breakfast is a full menu of eggs, grits, 2 sausages, cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, etc. The room was clean and plenty of hot water. My only complaint is height of bed! I am short so could not sit or get in bed without jumping, pushing self up with chair, etc so ended up buying a stool for the 4 nights to solve problem although risky getting up in night! Location is great as only a block from the Cane River Lake and close to shops, restaurants, etc.

Pack your patience. Hotel was nice and clean it’s the other little things that may have annoyed me. As I pulled up to check in hotel, there was already 3 cars in the one car ramp so I made a loop to find the parking lot. Found the parking lot but it was full. I went around the front again, parked on the side of the road with “no parking” signs all over. But I went ahead and parked with my hazards on just to check in. Check in would have been quick if not for the guests before me, so I had to wait a bit. Not the front desk fault at all. After I checked in, receptionist explained the overflow parking area. Of course I would have liked to park closer to hotel but parking was next block over. So you would have to unload the car first. But this could be an issue only because the unloading ramp seems to always have a car there. So this is where you have to practice patience. And for the elders/hanicap…be mindful of this because you will have to walk to the hotel. Hotel room was very clean. Hotel had old southern charm to it. We slept good up to the next morning. I usually put “do not disturb” sign up but thought housekeeping wouldn’t come early. It was 10 or so till 9am and they open my door talking about house keeping. I mean it’s great that they are ready to clean but that was a little early for me. So my fault on that. Would I book again here? Of course. Oh, breakfast was great too.
