I wanted to use the shoe locker key during my morning walk, so I pressed the front bell, but I waited more than 5 minutes (maybe because it was a closed day). - When you check out, you return the room and bath locker keys. <Parking> - You can park inside the park. There is plenty of space. No parking fee required. <Room> - We used the "Hayachine" (Japanese-style room). - It was late October, but the heater under the window was on and it was hot. The switch was hard to find, but it was on the left side.・The garden trees can be seen outside the window, which is quite a view. <Dinner> ・I chose the dinner plan because I didn't think there was anywhere to eat outside in Tono. ・The portions were modest for an inn, which I liked. Grilled fish (iwana), ceramic grill, sashimi, sesame tofu, vinegared dishes, hittsumi soup, dessert ・Rice and water (tea) are self-service. <Breakfast> ・After seeing the photos on the website, I refrained. I bought breakfast (bread) at a convenience store. <Bath> ・There is a low-temperature sauna and steam bath. The steam bath was ginger steam, probably because of the season. ・There is no cold bath, but a private shower. ・It is said that it is best to go after 9pm because there are day-trippers, but at around 8pm we had it all to ourselves. <Other> ・In the morning, we strolled around the curved house and the garden. It was rundown, but there was still a decent view. I guess it is a privilege for guests staying overnight. I like taking photos, so I enjoyed it for about an hour. ・Because the facility is based on a water purification plant, there are many water facilities such as a pond and waterfall in the garden, a water wheel, an aquarium inside the building, and a water distribution pond next to the parking lot. ・The floor was heated.

It's good that there is an aquarium, but it is often empty or has only a label and no fish, and is poorly maintained. The food is disappointing. It seems to be aimed at old men who drink in the Showa era, and is not modern. There are too many sake snacks like salted fish and fish paste, and no healthy side dishes like vegetables or tofu. I ordered Genghis Khan, but it came with a set of sashimi, a one-person hotpot, and steamed dishes like shumai. But the Genghis Khan was lame. The balance was off. Even though it was privatized, the taste remains poor.
