Paradox Singapore

Good location. Easy to get to other places. The room was generally clean, but quite dusty being an old hotel. Otherwise, great place!

The smell at the entrance of the hotel is terrible, and it’s there every time you walk in or out. After we declared we do not want the hotels breakfast, the counter staff closed down our room service account and banished us to a corner room at the lowest floor, claiming there’s good river view and directly outside the swimming pool. Little did we know it was at the cost of two staircases, which exist for decorative purpose alone, if not to add to our inconvenience. It is noisy at night till 1-2am with people shouting and laughing at the river side. The room itself is old and looks like not been lived in for a long time, with hard mattress, one lamp in the toilet not working, dirt in the cup, and a hairdryer that automatically stop (presumed due to overheat) after five minutes of blowing your hair. Not what you will expect from a five star hotel despite the good location.

The experience of this trip is very good. I come to Singapore once a year. The Paradox Hotel I stayed in this time is very good. The environment is good, the geographical location is excellent, and it is very close to various scenic spots and subway stations. The staff are very polite and enthusiastic, and the breakfast is very rich. Thank you for your hospitality. See you next year.
