Not bad. The staff were friendly, the cleanliness was acceptable, and the location was acceptable. The room window wasn't great.

It’s close to the main station but when you walk with luggages, it felt quite far especially when the road isn’t flat and there are few bridges to cross. But hotel was very close to the bus that take us to the airport so it was good. And there is a very famous reataurant right next to it!

For Venice, this hotel definitely offers great value for money. The price is reasonable and the location is excellent. It is close to the pier, making it very convenient if you want to visit Burano (the colorful island) or Murano (the glass island). We stayed in a corner room on the second floor, and the view was excellent.

Excellent Hotel in Authentic Venice I stayed at the Leone Hotel during my last trip to Venice and had absolutely no regrets. The hotel is small, cozy, with modern renovations and a very pleasant atmosphere. 🗺️ Convenient Location The location, in my opinion, is ideal. The hotel is in the Cannaregio district, just a 6–7 minute walk from Santa Lucia train station. I only had to cross one bridge. Right by the hotel there's a vaporetto (water bus) stop, making it easy to get to the airport, Murano, or any other part of the city. Very convenient! 👨‍💼 Wonderful Staff The staff here is truly attentive and friendly. They speak English at reception and explained everything in detail during check-in. They were understanding with all requests – you can tell the employees genuinely care about their guests. 🇮🇹 Authentic Neighborhood And a special delight is the Cannaregio district itself. This is real, living Venice. Near the hotel, there's a fish market in the mornings, local restaurants and cafes where Venetians themselves dine. The entrance to the Ghetto is nearby, convenient for those planning a tour of the lively area. Overall Impression The room was small but very clean and cozy. I was pleased to find a kettle and a capsule coffee machine in the room. By the way, the reception is now open 24/7! Overall – an excellent option for those who want a real, 'unpolished' introduction to Venice. I would happily return here. 🇮🇹

Hotel staff for morning shift was really helpful. Room was basic, smallish with not enough space to open luggage. Theres a side gate that is accessible to hotel guests after midnight daily. Theres a water taxi pickup drop-off point right in front of hotel lobby (see pic) Theres a small fish stall opened daily each morning if u wana see some local markers in action (see pic). no air con during winter, have to open windows. Construction ongoing at front door of hotel lobby. Nice seafood pasta at trattori pointo located right next door but be prepared for aloof service.

We booked two nights but only stayed one, it was that bad. The room was nothing like the photos: not clean, barely any natural light, no air conditioning, and the air felt damp. The hair dryer is easy to break, and I even found hair on the shower towel. I mentioned these to the staff when checking out, but got no response or solution, so I guess customer service is just as poor. I switched to the Hilton the next day—cleaner, cheaper, and more comfortable. The only good thing here is the location near the train station.
