Chanalai Garden Resort, Kata Beach

This was our first time staying at this hotel in Phuket, and overall it was a pretty good experience. We booked a sea view room, and you have to take a few different elevators to get there—it's a bit of a maze, hhhh! But still, it was really nice overall.

Great location, just a 2-minute walk to the beach. It was quiet, even though our room faced the road. Breakfast was okay—not very varied, but you won't go hungry. The food selection at Chanalai Hillside Resort in Karon is a bit bigger, though 😄 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The facilities are a bit dated and the soundproofing isn't great, but otherwise everything was okay.

The ocean view room was very nice, though the view was slightly blocked by trees. The air conditioning had a minor leak, but it was okay and didn't affect our stay. The hotel is massive; we had to take three elevators to reach our ocean-view room. The room was very clean, the front desk service was quite good, and a staff member even helped us with our luggage.

The room's basic cleanliness was acceptable, though the room itself felt a bit dated. The common areas were decent, and breakfast was so-so but filling enough. Check-in time at 2 PM was an hour earlier than another hotel I stayed at, which was a plus. For this price, what more can you ask for? The balcony adds to the good value for money.

Extremely satisfied!! Had a super amazing stay! The room is gorgeous 😻 I emailed them in advance, and the front desk receptionist arranged the room with the best view for us. I didn't want to leave at all!!

The environment is excellent, and from the high floors, you can see the sea. In the evenings, there's a buffet by the pool with a wide variety of dishes and reasonable prices. Just be sure to avoid building #7, as it's very noisy being along the street.

The hotel overall was really good. We got a free upgrade to a sea-view room, and the view was quite nice. The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The bed was super comfy, and the soundproofing was decent. The location is excellent, close to the beach, making it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The hotel environment is quiet and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended.

The surf shop downstairs is great, it's very convenient to go down. There are also delicious Kiri nearby and jewelry shops I like, like Ohlala. The prices are cheap and the breakfast is good.
