Rkpo Green Resort

Beautiful hotel, rooms are extremely good, food is top quality We did not use most of the amenities here, but , overall , the service, staff and restaurant was remarkably good. We had requested for 2 double rooms with king/ queen bed, but, we were provided twin cots that were put together and this was the only sore point. Punakha is a beautiful place in Bhutan and this resort is a top star that can be recommended to anyone

A pretty hotel. Rooms are quite large and most have a bay window open to beautiful view. Food is okay. Staff helpful. People with accessibility issue or difficulty with climbing stairs may face problem as it has too many stairs to everywhere and no lift.

As the name suggests the Resort is totally green. Great architecture, and very spacious rooms. Courteous staff. Enjoyed KARIOKE . Dining hall quiet big , adjoining Terrace. Lovely view and scenery can be enjoyed. Hotel is made in different level , which looks v cute.

Away from the main town, has wonderful views from room. Decent food and spread for dinner and breakfast. Staff is wonderful and friendly Wi fi weak in the rooms. The rooms are large but the bed is small. Bathroom very large. It seems that there were 2 different minds working when making the hotel. Some features are very modern and some very Victorian. Overall neat and clean. The tough part is the stairs. We were given a room on the top floor with great view but lots of stairs to climb as there's no lift. So this hotel isn't for you if you have problem climbing stairs. The bar and karaoke is nice. Overall decent stay. But I'm sure one could find better places.

Great stay! Clean rooms, beautiful surroundings, and very friendly staff. Perfect place to relax in Punakha. Highly recommended.

Good Hotel, Good rooms with bath tub. Good huge rooms. But food was average. Vegetarian and Jain food available But taste just about okay. Nothing great. Location is good and so is outside view. They have a karaoke place and bar. Stay would be comfortable.

Property is very beautiful with excellent location. But they need to work on their hospitality. They charge for simple basic things too… like using their little basic cutlery or asking for a boiled egg in breakfast though they had an egg station too ( just that they had omelette in menu that day). Despite my request that Son is not well please make boiled egg…. They refused. Food taste is not great too with limited variety. Staff not that helpful too. But the location is awesome. Property and rooms are big and spacious. The manager was friendly too. Has activities like dart and archery for kids too at nominal rates.

A nice hotel with great spacious rooms with great views. Busy with groups and the staff friendly. Buffet meal are ok and adequate. If you have mobility issues beware of the many steps and no lifts to rooms if you need to highlight such issues. Bar area and restaurant views are great.

While this hotel is on the older side, it is absolutely splendid: our favorite after two weeks in Bhutan. We loved the gardens, which are expertly manicured, and Punakha has so much to recommend it. The room was very large and spacious with a beautiful bay window where I sat and read each morning. The bed was comfortable and the meals were pleasant in a large open dining room. WiFi was fast and reliable. Staff can't do enough nice things for guests. We also enjoyed lovely walks into town from a path just opposite the hotel driveway; those walks will stay with us for a long time!
