An absolutely terrible stay! I picked this hotel specifically for its artificial beach. Before coming, I even checked their official website for beach opening times, and there was no mention of seasonal maintenance. Only upon arrival did I find out it would be closed until March, and Trip.com didn't indicate this either. For this price, what else could I have stayed in? This hotel is in a remote location, has few recreational facilities, and is expensive. Without the beach, it's utterly worthless!
The hotel service was also incredibly bad. On check-out day, neither of our two room cards would open the door. I went up and down 4-5 times, and the hotel staff acted completely unconcerned. Even if my English wasn't perfect, couldn't they see I was sweating and frantic? Running around the hotel, two or three other guests even asked if I needed help, but the hotel staff couldn't see it? I had already told them both cards wouldn't open the door, yet their first thought wasn't that the lock was broken, but to just give me another card. Their professionalism is highly questionable!
I originally chose this hotel because I was traveling with a child, and this is the experience I got. All those online recommendations for families are a lie. If you have kids, don't book here before March, and even after March, think carefully. Is this kind of service worth booking?!
