Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa (Marriott International)

This hotel is perfect for a staycation. The staff are very service-oriented. We really enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool, and they offered complimentary drinks during happy hour. The hotel's Michelin-starred Thai restaurant served consistently excellent Thai food, which we savored while watching the beautiful sunset – it was truly delightful. They even prepared a special surprise for my birthday, which made me very happy.

This hotel truly deserves five stars. The front desk service is top-notch; there's always a golf buggy to take you to and from, and they even remember your room number when you return to the hotel each day. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh food and a wide variety of choices. The restaurant staff even remembered what coffee I drank on the first day and asked if I wanted the same one every day after! On the first day of check-in, they prepare fruit and snacks, and the night before departure, they send a cake and a thoughtful card. The room is incredibly clean and tidy; the bathroom is wiped dry every day during housekeeping, not a single drop of water left. The cleaning staff even clean barefoot in the room and were so meticulous, placing a towel to organize all my skincare products on top – truly attentive! I had a wonderful holiday here!

The villa offers great privacy, and the private pool and courtyard create a fantastic ambiance. The room was clean and comfortable. Being surrounded by tropical greenery, it's inevitable to encounter some small animals; one day, I even saw a small snake on the way to the pool. Overall, it's quiet and relaxing, with attentive and thoughtful service. It's a top choice for a hotel getaway, and its biggest advantage is its proximity to the airport. However, the hotel's spa prices and food are higher than those at nearby JW Marriott and Anantara. If you plan to spend most of your time at the hotel, I recommend buying one of their recharge packages, or you can take the shuttle bus to Turtle Village for meals.

We chose the Renaissance Phuket for our summer family 'lie-flat' vacation. The pros: new facilities, clean and tidy, five-star service, and good restaurant food. The breakfast was also excellent, with a chocolate fondue for the kids. The hotel has its own private beach and a Starbucks. While its location is north of the airport, getting to the city center can be quite expensive. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the nearby Turtle Village, which has a commercial area with restaurants and a 7-Eleven. The local Pizza Company there is also delicious. For families with kids, you can book an elephant sanctuary online, which includes pick-up and drop-off. If you have a bigger budget, you can also opt for the Nemo dolphin show and swimming with dolphins, but that dolphin attraction is in southern Phuket, which is quite a distance! In summary: the hotel is new, clean, and well-designed. If you're looking to relax and unwind, definitely go for it. The last picture was taken after we checked out.

Stepping into the hotel, we were immediately impressed. It's quite new, very stylish, and has a great resort vibe. Even though it's not a huge hotel, you can really feel the staff's dedication and warmth. We'll definitely be back, it left a deep impression on our whole family! Plus, the hotel gym is really professional! Loved it!

An excellent resort hotel, five-star rating! The room was great with a small balcony. Although it's far from the city center, we prefer quiet, and the hotel wasn't crowded or chaotic. I think it's perfect for families with kids, as the pool wasn't packed either. There's a spacious private beach to watch the sunset. They even thoughtfully arranged a birthday surprise for my child, gifted a small cake, and folded a little bunny out of towels. The service was attentive and wonderful. Highly recommend!

This hotel is close to the airport. I was arriving late and wanted something nearby, so I was torn between the JW Marriott and Pullman. Initially, I planned to stay just one night as a transit, but then decided against Racha due to the rainy season and rough seas, and just booked two nights at the Renaissance instead! It completely exceeded my expectations. Service! The Renaissance's service is truly exceptional! From check-in, the staff were incredibly friendly and proactive. Their well-trained, yet familiar and warm smiles and greetings made us feel very comfortable. The room had handwritten mirror art, a handwritten welcome letter, and we even received small handwritten gifts at the restaurant. Especially by the pool, a staff member literally ran over to set up our sun loungers, immediately brought cold drinks, and handed us towels – so enthusiastic and attentive! [Thumbs up][Thumbs up] Room The room was very, very spacious. We booked a standard room, and it comfortably accommodated two adults and two children. There was a sofa that could be converted into a bed, and the bathroom was also large. The room even had a balcony. It was very quiet for sleeping, with no airplane noise at all. The soundproofing was excellent, and we slept wonderfully. Dining The breakfast was abundant! The fried rice with chickpea curry was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. For dinner, there's a famous Thai restaurant with a great ambiance, and the mango sticky rice was tasty. Overall, it wasn't crowded at all – it offered that perfectly unhurried, comfortable, and suitable vacation vibe! It's ideal for those who dislike crowds and prefer a pure, quiet, and relaxing hotel-centric holiday!

The resort is close to the airport, about a 30-minute drive. It's a bit secluded, so when we arrived at night, we wondered if we were in the right place. Waking up in the morning felt incredibly healing. The pool wasn't crowded, and the food at all three restaurants was excellent. Most importantly, the staff's bright smiles made our family trip very enjoyable. We were also grateful for the thorough room cleaning. A special thanks to R from the pool staff for their incredibly attentive service. The kindness and meticulous service were truly wonderful. Many thanks to other staff members: Sun, Toffy, and Sek. We would love to visit again if we have the chance.

The price is quite high, 1300 yuan, and it's inconvenient to go anywhere from here, very far. We booked it for our last day near the airport, and there's nothing special about this place. The restaurant is expensive and mediocre, and the only place you can walk to is the beach. The beach is also just okay. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for fun. The hotel is also far from the airport, a 25-minute drive, so it just ends up being a waste of taxi money. It's very ordinary for the high price. It's not soundproof either; for over a thousand yuan, staying on the first floor, you'd be better off at Pullman... The breakfast is also mediocre with not much to eat; Pullman's breakfast is much better than theirs.
