The rooms are updated, to old and I felt that it was a 3 hotel stars, bathroom was to basic

Beautiful hotel, wonderful facilities & activities (swimming, mini golf, pickleball, tennis, volleyball) for the kids. Private beach only steps away from the room. Pool & hot tubs were lovely with loads of space to relax around pool area. Staff were friendly & always helpful. Bed & pillows offered a comfy sleep. Room was spacious. Laundry just down the corridor, easy and convenient. Really enjoyable stay!

We booked two nights during the week while I was recovering from out-patient minor surgery. We had an accessibility room on the ground floor #111. Room was updated and bed was super comfortable with view of the ocean. The day after check in, we relaxed by the pool. It is beautiful, with plenty of shaded lounging areas. It was a really nice experience. The ocean proximity provided a great view, but as a beach, was underwhelming. The sand was more like dirt. Not the white sandy beaches you think of. Perhaps they could truck in some white sand to cover the dirt. As previous guests mentioned, the birds were at breakfast, but it’s an open-aired restaurant, so not much could be done on the hotel’s part. Just watch your food. There is an indoor area if it bothers you too much. The buffet was nothing special, I had hoped to sample local fruits and dishes, but there was just the usual. We did book dinner at La Cava Restaurant on-site. That was a real treat. The food was amazing with interesting flavors. Our waitress was top notch! Overall, our stay was a great experience, providing comfort and luxury relaxation in my time of need. Add a little local flare to breakfast and some white sand and it would be perfect!

Loved the staff! They are what made my stay better! They went out of their way to serve and accomodate! Always with a smile!
I did not like the smells that surround the hotel. Specially within 2:00am and 8:30am. Smells like sewage, specially if one stays in the areas closest to the river mouth. We had to ask for room change as the smell made it difficult to sleep.

The property was nice I will say that the beach is very dirty! I didn’t get into the water nor did I see anyone else in it. It was stray dogs running all over the property as well. Also you really have to look for good food. The resort had a daily parking fee which I felt was crazy being the cost of staying there. Lastly when dinning at resort beware of the birds they literally will come to the table and grab your food. It’s kind of annoying when you don’t want to be bothered. I will say the staff is very friendly the rooms are very nice and the pool. I believe they should do more activities for the resort so people don’t have to go far to have fun.

The hospitality was amazing! Everyone calls you family or familia. They all make you feel so welcomed. Food was great and the MOJITOS WERE PHENOMENAL!!! Beautiful resort thanks for the amazing stay!
