Clean, comfy, well located and beautiful place with a really nice bed.

Antonio is a wonderful host who will do anything for you. His property is clean and very comfortable and the air conditioning is wonderful and welcomed. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. I found it good value for money. The location is great, 10 minutes from the harbour beach and 15 minutes from the island. Fortuna Guest House is ideally located in a quiet and authentic neighbourhood within short walking distance to all culinary and historical highlights in Siracusa and Ortigia. The guesthouse offers value for money room rates, an Italian breakfast, as well as clean and spacious rooms with aircon and coffee machine. We had a room upstairs on the first floor and enjoyed sitting on the French balcony while drinking our coffees in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and one doesn't even realise there are other guests in the house. Antonio is an absolutely welcoming and friendly host. He gave us many helpful tips for restaurants, sightseeing, and beaches. We would come back anytime again when staying on the island.

Pleasant Surprise and Great Stay At first, I thought I had made the wrong decision when I saw the building from the outside. But once I entered the room, I realized it had everything I needed. It was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The surrounding area was quiet, with plenty of parking available. While Isla Ortigia was a bit far to walk, most other points of interest were within a 2 km radius. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay!

It was easy to register, clean and a good location. Not to mention the free croissant in the morning!

Ale (Alessandro) is an excellent and gracious host. The room is immaculate and spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower is also spacious. Very soundproof space and restful sleep! There is street parking nearby but if you can't find a free spot, the parking lot across the street is only 6 Euros a day for spacious, well-lit parking. Great pizzeria just downstairs.

We really liked that the it was near to walk to the Isola Ortigia and to the other nice hot spots like the Parco Archeologico Neapolis. Grazie mille Antonino per la tua ospitalità!

The bed is very comfortable!!! The room is very spacious. The balcony was a nice touch! I also loved the pods of coffee and that they offered a free cleaning service everyday. The neighborhood is quiet, and walking distance to both Ortigia Island and the park of Archeology. It is also very close to a futball stadium. There is a scooter and bike rental on the streets a few blocks away too. I strongly recommend staying here!!!
