Casa de Mar - Koh Samui

The hotel is nice,swimming pool is great,the sea view is amazing and beach area is not deep ,the breakfast is good,restaurant’s food is so delicious,we eat there almost every day.the snack in the room is cute 🥰,the bathrobe feels comfortable,the room is clean ,the service is good and stuff is very helpful.you can rent a bike and do the massage near by very convenient.The water power is poor.we enjoyed our stay ,thank you very much !!!!

Here’s a more polished and balanced version of your Trip.com review: We stayed at Casa De Mar in a Deluxe Villa. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but I don’t think the villa is worth the extra cost. The standard rooms should be more than enough for most guests. The breakfast is decent, but don’t expect a huge variety. One issue is that there doesn’t seem to be proper refrigeration for items like butter, yogurt, juices, and water. If you arrive after 8:00 AM, some items—especially the butter and cheese—can look melted, and the yogurt is very sweet and not served cold. On the positive side, there is a good selection of freshly cooked eggs and bread. The beach in front of the hotel isn’t ideal for swimming because it’s very shallow. However, the location is peaceful, and the hotel is still a good base for exploring Koh Samui. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I would recommend booking a standard room instead of paying extra for a villa.

The hotel was nice and the staff were helpful. The bathroom could be cleaned better in between uses and it was also a bit old. The actual room was very spacious and clean. There is no fridge in the room, only a wine cooler but the staff would be able to help store food if necessary.

We booked the hotel specifically because of the front sea private pool. There are just 2 apartments with these characteristics, therefore the most pricey. In addition, we specified that we'll be on honeymoon. We were expecting the honeymoon compliments, that is usual ( we had in Cambodia before we arrived in Casa de Mar). No compliments offered. Very disappointing. The hotel in general is outdated , i.e the structure of the building is needing reparations. You can view infiltration in the ceiling of the restaurant area. The Thai hotel workers are friendly, not to complain. I would say that the hotel needs to take more attention on the guests requests or moments that are important.

Big comfy bed. Good location (quieter area off Chaweng beach, about 10-15 minute walk). Nice cocktails, reasonably priced on happy hour. Great view looking out to sea. Friendly helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa De Mar in Koh Samui. The location is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach just steps away—it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The views are breathtaking, especially during sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a nice balance of modern design and island vibes. The overall ambiance of the hotel is शांत and peaceful, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. We also enjoyed the food and the beachfront setting, which added to the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Samui and looking for a calm, scenic stay.
