Fairmont Xiamen

A perfect experience. This is a truly excellent hotel. We booked the Grand Club City View room, and the night view was absolutely stunning. The hotel's design is fantastic, and the service is meticulous. The breakfast was especially plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options. The afternoon tea and evening happy hour snacks for Grand Club guests were also of high quality. The only minor flaw was that the small cakes were a bit hard and not very pleasant to eat. The bathroom amenities were also very good.

The service was, as always with Fairmont, exquisitely refined. The concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage, and check-in at the front desk was efficient and prompt. Their responsiveness was excellent, and they maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. The only minor drawback is that the location isn't in the traditional tourist-heavy Old Town or along Huandao Road. It's more suited for business travelers or those who prefer to avoid crowded attractions and enjoy spending their time leisurely at the hotel.

The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast selection was plentiful. The '回'-shaped layout of the breakfast restaurant was a bit confusing, but the food quality was consistent, and the service was quite good. The overall dishes at the Italian restaurant on the first floor were a bit greasy, and even with the 20% discount for hotel guests, it still wasn't great value for money.

I genuinely feel that this hotel in Xiamen is the one I regret not having stayed at sooner. The service here is truly the best in all of Xiamen, bar none. From the housekeeping staff to the front desk and even Cece at the executive lounge, I can honestly say that the service at Fairmont Xiamen is incredibly meticulous and absolutely fantastic. From the detailed explanation of the hotel's history to the thoughtful service in every aspect while sitting in the lounge, including a wonderfully delicious breakfast – I will definitely stay at the Fairmont again next time!

It was wonderful! The service was exceptionally good; both the front desk and the butler service were very gentle and proactive in their communication. The scenery is charming, and the sea view room offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The front desk clearly explained the executive benefits, making for an excellent experience and a lovely memory. The management is doing a great job! 👍

The hotel is located near the Xiang'an Tunnel entrance, in a conference and business district, with a distant view of the Kinmen Bridge. It offers great value for money. Thanks to Cece for helping me with a room upgrade and late check-out.

As a Xiamen local, Xiamen Airlines has always been my top choice for travel since childhood. I heard this hotel was a joint venture between Xiamen Airlines and Accor, and I've been wanting to stay since it opened. Every day, I drive past the new Xiamen Airlines headquarters and see the little Egret logo, and the exterior always looks so inviting. 🤍 Room Type: The service attitude was excellent, with smiling staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant. A special thank you to Minnie, the Front Office Director, for her attention. I originally booked the most basic room, but the hotel kindly upgraded me to a high-floor bay view room for free, where I could see the Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge in the distance. The package I booked included a mascot, Mengmeng, which is super cute and cuddly with a nice texture and a detachable hat. I even slept with it that night~ (I looked it up, and it costs 98 RMB…) 🩵 Room: The bedside speaker was a Tivoli Audio, the hairdryer looked like a Cetis, and the toiletries were Le Labo (I heard a store is opening at MixC soon). Now for the highlight!!! This is by far the most comfortable pillow I've ever encountered in a hotel! Period! (For the other three luxury brands in the city, I've brought my own pillow on my second stay). I'm pregnant and need a super soft pillow to support my back and belly when sleeping on my side. The head pillow was slightly firmer in comparison but still contoured perfectly to my neck and traps. In short, I slept soundly all night!!! And my stomach felt fine!!! 💜 Breakfast: The breakfast was a bit disappointing. To be honest, the variety wasn't much. What I photographed is what I ate, just these three items. The restaurant is circular with each side being a different area. Since I don't like desserts, I might have missed what everyone says are the best desserts. However, compared to the Waldorf Astoria and Andaz, the breakfast selection really isn't extensive. I'm not sure if the plates were too cold or if they didn't use plate warmers, plus with the air conditioning, the mushrooms, which were originally delicious, were already cold by the time I got them from the buffet to my seat... Blah blah blah, anyway, for the pillows and the service, I'd go back a second time~~

Had two days off and spontaneously decided to have a relaxing staycation at a hotel. Ended up choosing the Fairmont, and I must say, the environment and service were both excellent. The staff were very enthusiastic, and based on my actual experience, the price wasn't expensive at all. The bay window offered a fantastic, wide-open view, directly overlooking the Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge. We did encounter a minor issue, but it was quickly resolved. Plus, the gym was really good!
