Beautifully designed hotel with a spacious, comfortable room, and we really enjoyed the spa - especially as a treat after running the Marathon du Médoc.
The shower itself is great, but I found the design quite confusing from a practical point of view. The glass partition is quite short, so water splashes onto the bathroom floor while showering. I’m not sure if it was just our room or if other guests have experienced the same thing, but it’s really not pleasant to have water splashing everywhere and that made it pretty hard to truly enjoy the shower.
Overall, a stylish and enjoyable stay, but I’d also hope for more warmth and attentiveness from the staff - a few of them weren’t particularly friendly.
