Our first B&B in Dali, and the view alone is worth a thousand! It's incredibly waterfront; the moment you open the door, you're greeted by an unobstructed view of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The butler was also super friendly and even held an umbrella for me and helped me carry my luggage to the car when it was raining at check-out!

I originally only booked one night, but after arriving, I found the scenery, service, and room all incredibly worthwhile! So I extended my stay for another night, and even got my favorite room type! Sea view or courtyard afternoon tea (choose one): Afternoon tea can be enjoyed in your room. Service: The staff (both guys and girls) here are super friendly and enthusiastic. Environment: No need to say more, it's excellent! 🌟 You fall asleep to the natural white noise of the ocean waves, and for light sleepers, the hotel even provides earplugs. The photo spots downstairs at the hotel are also amazing! The last 3 photos are from the hotel's basement level.

The environment is amazing! Every day, we fed seagulls by Erhai Lake, had breakfast by the sea, and watched the sunset – it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is right at the entrance of the scenic area, making it very convenient for getting around. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Honestly, this is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali these past few days. The views are incredible, and both the facilities and service are definitely five-star quality. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also very satisfying. I'd stayed at a seaview B&B next door the day before, and while this place was only 200 yuan more expensive, it absolutely blew yesterday's experience out of the water. It would be even better if they could sort out the parking situation, though!

Conveniently located right at the entrance of the ancient town, making it super easy to access all the dining, entertainment, and activities. The views are absolutely stunning, with an unobstructed, direct panorama of Erhai Lake right from the window – perfect for photos! The service is top-notch, and the staff are very attentive. Definitely a top choice for a getaway.

Facilities: The worst part was that the shower water would suddenly turn cold multiple times, and the faucet at the sink was very difficult to adjust – it was either a trickle of cold water or a gush of hot water. I tried to use a bit of warm water to wash my face and ended up splashing myself. Cleanliness: So-so. Ambiance: The arches in the room and on the balcony were pretty, and the public areas downstairs were generally okay. The newly opened teahouse in the courtyard had a nice atmosphere. The downside is that since the downstairs area is open to the public, there were many non-guests, which compromised privacy. Service: Compared to the guesthouses I stayed at in Xizhou and Dali Ancient City, the service here was very business-like and ordinary. Double Seaview Afternoon Tea Set: Both breakfast and afternoon tea were significantly worse than at my other two guesthouses. Overall: I stayed at three guesthouses during this Dali trip, and this one in Shuanglang was the most expensive, yet it had the worst service, dining, and public area environment. It wasn't good value for money; I guess the high price was just for the sea view.

This hotel boasts an absolutely stunning sea-view terrace, and the restaurant and cafe downstairs offer breathtaking views as well. Its location right at the north entrance makes it incredibly convenient for getting taxis. The hotel even offered complimentary afternoon tea with cake and drinks, and the butler was very thoughtful and helpful with our luggage.

Simply wonderful! The service was outstanding – they even came out to the parking lot to help with our luggage. You wake up to a breathtaking sea view, and it's incredibly photogenic.
