If you want to make international friends and are into the backpacker vibe, this is the place for you. Very clean. Polite staff. Able to store luggage before check in. Location is right in the middle of the tourist district. Sometimes the elevator was very slow to pick you up if a busy time. My capsule room had a rip in the screen which let light in. Of course, the nature of this hotel is you are close to your neighbors. While they tried to be quiet, you could hear everything. Request away from the entrance and hallways for most soundproof area. View from common area very picturesque.

Overall great experience at the Millenials Kyoto. When you arrive there is a possibility to leave your luggage before check-in. The bed is quite comfortable, the bathroom could be a bit cleaner -＞dust falling from the A.C fan… The service is impeccable (there is even unlimited cofee/hot chocolate… available all day long) Breakfast could have more fresh pastries (they where taken out of the plastic infrontof the client)

Hotels in Kyoto are really expensive during autumn leaf season, so this place is a great value for solo travelers. They provide slippers and towels, and the shared bathrooms are very clean and modern. The showers are spacious, and the staff are friendly. It's a bit of a walk to the subway on the main street, but very convenient for buses. Everyone staying here is quite quiet. The only downside is the unavoidable noise of curtains being pulled, and it's not ideal if you have a lot of luggage.

This capsule hotel was a great experience ! The capsule itself was big, the bed was comfortable. The common area had a nice vibe with people chilling all around. Very good location! I would definitely like to come back :)

Great social hostel in the heart of Kyoto! Spacious, comfortable and high tech pods! The free beer at 17:30 is a great plus and easy to meet other likeminded solo traveler Highly recommended

For a solo trip to Kyoto, I highly recommend this place. The bathrooms and shower rooms were spotless and felt very private. The staff member who assisted with check-in and luggage storage was incredibly friendly and helpful.
