Free Bird Resort Hotel

Finally found my ideal B&B in Yangshuo, nestled amidst the stunning landscapes! It's located around the Ten-Mile Gallery. Open the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and you're greeted directly by rolling peaks and lush green rice paddies. Waking up to the misty pastoral scenery is incredibly therapeutic.✨ The room has a simple, natural wood design, clean and spacious. The trendy transparent bathtub faces the mountain view, making for fantastic photos. The B&B also has a large lawn and a swimming pool where my two kids had a blast. There are plenty of leisure areas where you can sit back and quietly enjoy the karst scenery – it's truly relaxing. You can dine right at the B&B for all three meals. The authentic Guilin home-style dishes are delicious, with fresh and tasty river shrimp and seasonal vegetables. After dinner, there are refreshing sweet fruits. The complimentary afternoon tea offers many choices, and the staff's service is attentive and thoughtful, patiently answering all our travel inquiries. It's a quiet and comfortable escape from the hustle and bustle of West Street, highly recommended for families with children. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Yangshuo!

The environment is clean and the service is super, super good! There were always bugs flying into the pool, but the staff helped me clean it multiple times. Next time, I'd like to try staying in a different room type!

This time, I stayed in a family suite for my trip to Yangshuo. It was incredibly spacious, featuring a large bathtub and a tea table, with beautiful views right outside the window. There's a kids' play area and an outdoor pool. Breakfast was also very much to our liking. Right outside the hotel, there's an e-bike rental shop, which is super convenient. It's only a 10-minute walk to Jiuxian Pier, and the Jinlong Bridge Pier is the final stop for bamboo rafts. We took the earliest raft back, just in time for breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Before my trip, I looked at many guesthouses and finally chose Ziyouniao (Free Bird). That was such a wise decision! The scenery is absolutely stunning; every photo I took looked like a masterpiece, and I didn't have to deal with crowds. The room was huge and had its own pool. The cleanliness, facilities, and service were all excellent 😎. The complimentary fruit and drinks in the room were incredibly generous, and mineral water was unlimited. If you don't feel like going out, you can have a great time just staying at the hotel. On the last day, because we were exploring a cave, we missed lunchtime, but the restaurant still provided warm service, and the complimentary beer fish was delicious. This is definitely a hotel I'd recommend to my friends.

This hotel is perfectly located in the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, just a few minutes' walk from the Old County Pier, a must-visit spot for everyone! It's highly recommended for family trips; kids can enjoy swimming, playing in the water, and cycling, while adults can take beautiful photos all over the hotel, from the rooftop to the ground floor!

The front desk staff were incredibly attentive to every guest; they remembered our questions and proactively followed up for feedback, which was really thoughtful! My only suggestion for improvement would be to add more washing machines – they are definitely needed!

Before heading back, we pre-ordered beer fish and bitter melon with preserved egg soup from the hotel and specified our dining time. When we returned, the hot meal was already laid out on the table, and we instantly felt right at home.

A very nice hotel with warm and responsible staff. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel offers excellent views. Parking is convenient and they even have charging stations. The hotel has its own restaurant with delicious food, and they offer room service, which is perfect for lazy guests.
