It feels good here, but it's very far from Wakkanai city center. It's an excellent hotel if you have a car, at the very least you need a bicycle. Superb sea view, and a wonderful onsen instead of a bathroom!

The service from the ladies made the tourists feel right at home. They greeted us warmly early in the morning, telling us that seals were likely to be seen in the nearby river, and that since there were many anglers on the beach, the chances of seals coming ashore were slim.

The hotel is decorated like home, very comfortable. The staff is like mother, cooking big meals in the kitchen. If you need anything, just ring the bell at the counter and they will come out to deal with it. They can't speak languages ​​other than Japanese, but there is a translator, so basic communication is no problem. 1 night 2 meals, all of which are some Japanese home-cooked dishes. We booked a terrace sea view room, which was originally available to watch the sunset, but it happened to rain that day, so we missed it. The sound of the waves was very loud at night, but we saw the sunrise in the morning. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Cape Soya. The overall feeling is very good.
