Atour Jianye Hotel (Central Location of Fenghuang Ancient Town, Night Cruise Photo Spot)

The hotel offers free underground parking and is within walking distance to Fenghuang Ancient Town, which is very convenient, especially with the laundry room available. Fenghuang Ancient Town itself doesn't have an entrance fee, but it was incredibly crowded during the summer, making the experience just average.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Fenghuang Ancient Town. At night, the scenic area is beautifully lit and bustling with people; you can also try local delicacies. The hotel's service attitude is decent, but I'd suggest making the lobby's fragrance a bit more subtle and elegant.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. It's quiet despite being central, and you can get to the ancient city quickly. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic. I couldn't get a car to the train station, and she kept helping me call and hail a taxi. Many thanks to her.

The hygiene was not great; the toothbrush was covered in a thick layer of dust. It made me wonder how long it had been since it was last replaced.

I think this hotel is fantastic! To find such a tranquil place in a small county like this, where you can relax on the sofa in your room and enjoy the beautiful view of the ancient city, and it's only 50m from the ancient city's entrance. The room is also very spacious, extremely clean and tidy, and all the facilities are brand new. There was even a yoga mat in the room, which was a pleasant surprise! This truly lives up to Atour's high-end brand! We also tried the late-night congee service with my family, and the kids absolutely loved it. The breakfast in the morning was much more extensive than at a typical Atour. Overall, this stay was very satisfying! The two ladies at the front desk, Li Qun and Mo Yao, also provided excellent service! Their names are lovely too, and they met all our requests! Thank you to them!

This was my first time staying at Atour, and in Fenghuang Ancient City, the only chain hotel brands available are domestic ones like Atour, Hanting, and Orange. A popular scenic spot really should introduce more international and domestic chain hotel brands, rather than just relying on conservative local hotels and guesthouses. Without market competition, it's easy to become insular, leading to outdated accommodation facilities and services. More lodging options would also help tourists avoid falling into 'photo trap' scams, as the overall guest experience is a crucial part of a scenic spot's reputation. Atour, in my experience, was quite good. The in-room facilities were new, clean, and well-designed. Upon closer inspection, I found that all the details were well thought out, anticipating guests' needs. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding—the beef rice noodles were delicious. I believe Atour has the potential to become a high-end brand, setting a benchmark for hotels both domestically and internationally. Across the street is an Orange hotel, and through an alley, you can reach the Tuojiang River, making it very convenient to get to various attractions in the ancient city. My only minor complaint is that although it's away from the noisy bar areas of the ancient city, my room faced the main road. I could still clearly hear people talking loudly on the street and cars passing by at night. However, considering its convenient location near the ancient city, I can't be too picky – it's just a small drawback. Don't worry too much about whether the ancient city is overly commercialized; if you're just looking to relax, wander around, enjoy the sights, and snap some photos, it's definitely worth a visit.

Got a complimentary upgrade to a large executive king room – it was huge! The hotel is only a 3-5 minute walk to the ancient town, and even though it's close, you can't hear any of the noise from there. The room was very quiet and clean. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Mei, provided excellent service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

The hotel's location is excellent. The high-speed rail special tourist line is very convenient, and it's also very close to the ancient town. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic; they accommodated our request for a late checkout and even helped us plan our route around the ancient town and recommended restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, but the biggest highlight was the wireless charging available on the nightstand – it made for a great stay experience.

Great location with convenient parking. It's just a few minutes' walk to the river, but still quiet. The bedding was excellent; even my picky dad said the bed was very comfortable after staying there.
