The Hive Beach

The hotel is right on the beach and has great little shops for lunch and breakfast right next to it. Very convenient transportation, the hotel will arrange someone to pick you up from the airport.

We had to ask for our complimentary water, coffee and tea every morning. They don’t refill themselves. Quiet disappointed. Another thing is I asked them not to book a taxi I will organise my travel. But they did and asked me to go with their taxi service very high price

worst stay among the 10 days I spent in Maldives. I stay at hulemale to fit arriving late at night on first day, and last day for morning flight. the hotel looks ok, but certainly overpriced. standard room size, air conditioning stopped by itself, no hot water and no water all of a sudden during shower. toilet kept giving a bad smell, and the most scary is a big rat jumped out while we entered the restaurant for breakfast. breakfast was bad too, with only few hot dishes. I'm not comparing it with luxury hotel, but just my first night at H78 which costs only 60% of what I paid for at The Hive Another strange thing is the hotel gave me a receipt of us$178, but I'm actually paying trip.com hkd 1673, equivalent to usd200+

It was a good stay overall and location on beach front
