Island Pond Country Inn (Formerly the Lakefront Inn & Motel)

Stayed 2 nights for a business "retreat" Throttle therapy ! The rooms were clean as could be . There were several trucks and trailers on site and the motel desk clerk was great in getting things organized. We had 2 events in the timber frame room attached to the store that were great fun , the whole staff worked hard to make it as enjoyable as possible. They were organized and super friendly, would highly recommend them . Having direct trail access was big plus !

Stayed here for two nights and days for a snowmobile trip! Thomas was who checked us in and was more than accommodating for our every want. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with towels and extra linens, whatever you needed it had it, except coffee which you can buy directly across the street at Dollar General so it wasn't a big deal for us. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend it and we will be returning for sure

We've stayed here several times before, and have enjoyed our stays very much. This is not a fancy place, but it's comfortable and the view of Island Pond is terrific, especially if you have one of the rooms at the end, overlooking the pond. However, this year, as another recent reviewer mentioned, there were a number of "neighborhood" (?) kids making a lot of noise and loudly making use of any number of obscenities while pushing each other off the dock. If the dock belongs to the motel, management needs to do something about this. If this is a public dock, then guests staying at the nice rooms overlooking the pond should be warned. As I mentioned, we have stayed here several times before and have enjoyed our stays. But, this time, the noise and the obscenities will make us think twice about coming here again. Management, please do something about this! This is a nice place to stay!
