I booked two nights, and the system matched me with a family room and a double room. The price difference was almost 100 yuan. Upon arrival, the front desk offered to change my room to a double room for two nights. I asked if they could refund the difference, since the family room was more expensive. They said no, I just wouldn't have to pay extra. I said thank you, then it's fine. The front desk staff's face immediately darkened. I discovered that the double room hadn't actually been booked for two nights; it seemed they were just trying to get me to book at the higher family room price, then pretend to tell me I could get a double room for two nights without changing rooms. What about the extra 100+ yuan I paid? And they won't even refund me?! Also, the location is in a small alley; it's really not a particularly good hotel.

We were moved to another hotel, so Hhade House offered breakfast (very tasty) for the inconvenience. Our room was new on the 4th floor with a city view, with two double beds and a large balcony. Everything was perfect.

In the alley, the room is small, the shower is weak, but everything else is good

Nice not big hotel. Clean, neat. There are paid washing machines. The rooms have everything you need, including a microwave, kettle and safe. One minus: very small rooms. The breakfasts are set to choose from, but very good and varied. Located in the very center. You can probably walk to the royal palace, but we used a taxi.

Stayed overnight, nice budget hotel with good location

It's a great hotel. The staff is very friendly. The best thing is that the breakfast is delicious and has a lot of choices. It's not far from Khao San Road and can be reached by walking. The location is very good. Highly recommended, we booked two rooms at once and they were great.
