Hyatt Regency Beijing Shiyuan Great Wall

Huge thanks to the front desk lady for her warm welcome! It was my first stay, and I received a free room upgrade to a spacious, bright, and clean room. She also helped me with a late check-out, which really made the experience fantastic! The hotel package is excellent value for money; we enjoyed the amusement park, a night tour of the Badaling Great Wall, and then a relaxing hot spring bath to unwind. Very satisfied, definitely worth a second visit!

Drove with the kids for a day trip. It took a little over an hour to get to the hotel from the city. We left in the afternoon, so there wasn't much traffic and the drive was smooth. The hotel is quite large with plenty of space, so even with a lot of people, it didn't feel crowded. We even went to the hot springs in the evening. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and responsible. The activities included with the room booking were a good value. The next day, we visited the Expo Park. Highly recommend for families with kids.

The hotel has a fantastic environment. We're a family of four, and they even upgraded our room type. The service was also very thoughtful. The front desk staff were very patient, and the breakfast had a great variety and tasted good. I especially recommend the Yanqing flatbread with meat.

There was a long queue when I checked in, probably because it was a Saturday... We also had to queue to get into breakfast. The experience these two days wasn't great, but everything else was okay. It's right opposite the Beijing Expo Park, and you can go to the hotel's amusement park next door.

Adjacent to the Beijing Expo Park, this hotel boasts an excellent location. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive, offering access to the iQIYI Qibabu Park and Yueqin Hot Springs. It's an ideal choice for family trips.

The room facilities were pretty good, clean and hygienic. It's right opposite the International Horticultural Exhibition Park. The hotel's own pool isn't big, but they gave us tickets to the water park at the neighboring hotel, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The lady at the front desk who handled our check-in was incredibly nice. She did her best to find a suitable room based on our requests and even upgraded our room type! There were very few insects in the hotel, which was a huge plus. As for the facilities, it's true that it's not a new hotel, but it was perfectly adequate for a stay with kids! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, which is something that could be improved.

Even though the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. We arrived on a rainy day and stayed in (thanks to Kong Kong for the warm hospitality and upgrade!), enjoying the breeze on the balcony. But I didn't expect the next day, with the sun out, to be even more comfortable. I wish I had booked an extra night (thanks again to the professional Kong Kong) 😄😄. See the pictures for details. P.S. Although I haven't actively pursued Globalist status, the Hyatt brand consistently impresses me, whether in Hong Kong, Sanya, or Beijing. I'll definitely be back.

The room facilities were great, but the breakfast quality and selection were really disappointing. On the bright side, the restaurant service was excellent! The hotel's location right across from the World Horticultural Expo was super convenient. It's a shame the TV in the room didn't support screen mirroring, that was a letdown.
