Although Trip.com made a mistake, they handled it proactively and promptly. **Hardware:** The hotel boasts an unbeatable location with stunning views over the entire Ayung River bend. While the property has some age, its design and aesthetics are still top-notch. The villas are incredibly spacious with unparalleled views. Everything you can touch, and even what you can see, is spotless. The outdoor loungers are very clean. The in-room appliances and smart features have all been updated. **Software:** Every staff member greets you warmly. I was amazed that, besides my dedicated butler, several other staff members remembered my name when I encountered them. Without me even mentioning it, staff members noticed when I bumped my foot or got mosquito bites and proactively offered assistance, calling for medical help or bringing mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream. Services like breakfast delivery, refreshments, and turn-down service were all meticulously executed. The butler was available 24/7 and responded instantly. **Food:** The food was excellent. It's best described as creative cuisine using local ingredients, completely changing my previous impression that Indonesian food was unappetizing. Whether it was breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner, almost everything I ordered was delicious, and many dishes were truly spectacular. You really can't go wrong here. It truly lives up to its Michelin reputation, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, the experience was fantastic, far surpassing Amankila and Ayana.

An amazing experience, truly deserving of its top-rated status in Ubud. The hotel has vast public areas, and there's an abundance of facilities and activities to enjoy. I highly recommend dining at the hotel; the nine-course dinner, priced at around 600+ per person, was an outstanding experience.

Mandapa is nestled in the Ubud forest, surrounded by rainforest and built into the mountainside. It's a secluded sanctuary, perfect for cleansing the soul and allowing me to slowly and peacefully savor every day of my vacation. I was particularly impressed with their butler service. During my three-day, two-night stay, everything was meticulously planned for me, from the transfer service to and from the hotel in Jimbaran Bay, to my river adventure, spa appointments, scheduled photography session, and dinner reservations. My butler orchestrated everything, acting like a personal secretary. Furthermore, most of the hotel's restaurants are outdoors, allowing guests to dine amidst the forest. Surprisingly, the environmental hygiene and insect control were excellent, which I truly appreciated. The villa's cleanliness was also ideal; I didn't spot a single spiderweb, ant, small spider, or any other insect or dust mite within the 430-square-meter villa. The hygiene was superb. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt incredibly serene and relaxing, making it perfectly suited for couples to enjoy a slow-paced, leisurely trip. Regarding the food, I tried breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at three of their restaurants. The dining atmosphere and food quality were consistently excellent. The spa lived up to the standards of a 6-star hotel! Given its Michelin 3-star status, the hotel truly meets that benchmark. One minor thing to note is that during dinner at one of their Indonesian restaurants, there's a traditional Indonesian dance performance where performers wear a deity mask. This might make some guests, especially those with young children, feel uncomfortable or even frightened. This is something to be aware of.

Staying at a top-tier luxury hotel in Bali is absolutely the right decision! Even the most basic room at Mandapa, costing 10,000 a night, offers an incredible experience of Bali's stunning beauty. We also happened to catch the Sunday international buffet, which was the most memorable meal of my seven-day trip to Bali, especially considering you couldn't get anything nearly as good for that price in China. The Bulgari's breakfast comes in second. Finally, a shout-out to Jumeirah Bali – I stayed in their full ocean view room for over 7,000, and it was a complete rip-off. Everything about it was terrible. So, just go straight for the top luxury hotels; even their entry-level rooms will give you a completely different and much happier experience!

Stayed at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve with my family. The hotel lobby is grand and absolutely stunning! Our room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. We received delicious welcome fruits and snacks, and there was an ample supply of drinking water. Our Chinese butler, Nessa (Honghong), was incredibly helpful during our two-day stay! She was always responsive to our requests, replied promptly, was understanding, patient, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. It happened to be Mother's Day, and Nessa helped my son fulfill his idea of surprising me. I received beautiful flowers, a cake, and a thoughtful card from the hotel! The Indonesian restaurant's breakfast spread was fresh and abundant, offering both buffet and à la carte options. The staff were proactive, polite, and friendly! Nova was particularly understanding; seeing that I liked mangosteen but wasn't sure how to open it, she kindly prepared it for me and brought it over. It was a truly heartwarming gesture! Overall, our stay at the hotel was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

Everything about this hotel is top-notch. Good service, a very comfortable villa, and an excellent spa. If you need to recharge, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back.

In terms of design, it's clear the hotel has some age, yet its overall style leans towards an elegant, sophisticated old-money aesthetic. It doesn't feel outdated; instead, it exudes a timeless sense of understated luxury. The dining experience was good, with the Japanese restaurant being a particular highlight—the food was delicious. However, while the breakfast offered a combination of à la carte and buffet options, providing sufficient choices, the variety wasn't particularly abundant, and the taste didn't quite meet my high standards. What truly impressed me the most was the service. Among all the hotels I've stayed in, this one's service is arguably the best and most ceremonial to date. Every single staff member was incredibly enthusiastic, meticulous, and genuinely cared for the guests, making you feel treated like a king or queen. As for the hardware, it's standard high-end five-star configuration—nothing overly surprising, but certainly above expectations.
