The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, Autograph Collection

We love Brown Palace and have been there before. We had difficulty getting them to return our calls when we were trying to make reservations for dinner there. Our air conditioning would not turn off and we didn’t hear back from them when we alerted them to the problem. For the price we were paying, we expected better service. It is still a wonderful historic place to spend time.

I would give the brown palace 2/5 stars. The only reason it’s getting 2 is because of the excellent wait staff we had at breakfast. They were so friendly and kind and attentive. Definitely recommend just going for breakfast to see them. As far as everything else it was subpar as best. I paid over $350 for my room and then at checkout paid and extra $109 just for internet and amenities. That definitely should have been included for what the hotel has to offer. Overall front desk staff was rude and stand offish and not very helpful at all. There’s some great historic pieces in the hotel but not enough for it to be worth what we paid for.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the history tour provided by Lee (concierge). Drop by the Ship Tavern … the Fish House punch is very refreshing and comes in an amazing tiki cup!

The property definitely has “Titanic” vibes. On check in the front desk clerk was less than thrilled to be there.when I got to our room it was large and nice. But then I noticed the curtains were hanging off the rod which made the room look trashy. I tried to climb on a chair to fix myself and did temporarily until I opened the curtains again.

Classic and classy hotel...afternoon tea was too expensive but worth it for a one-time treat

Very old building but would have thought when allowed to be in autograph collection room amenities would have been better No plug for phone charger No coffe maker except espresso machine which didn’t accept the coffee pods very strange No hand soap in bathroom but they did remedy that

Seriously in need of a major renovation. Peeling paint, old dtained carpet and furnishings. Bathroom a train wreck.

We stayed for the St. Patrick's Day parade. Very nice stay at the Brown. Very friendly staff, excellent food and lively, friendly guests.

Always love the Brown Palace, staff is always great. The jazz music on Sat. is terrific! My only recommendation is that our room needed some upkeep, thing starting to fall apart in the room that need attention to keep this a spectacular hotel.
