Rommai Villa Chiang Rai

It's a hotel cabin in a natural setting, but the hygiene was poor, with lots of bugs and cobwebs! The lake inside the hotel was extremely murky… The booking showed the room was quite large, but that actually included the outer courtyard. The actual inner room was very small… It was difficult to pass through with a large suitcase. The receptionist's service was quite good, but the hotel's cleanliness was really poor.

I booked this hotel for a client, and they gave great feedback. The environment is fantastic, the front desk service is excellent, the breakfast is good, and it's not far from the university. Highly recommended!

The pure teak house is antique and located in a quiet and peaceful rural farm. Everything is natural and harmonious. There is a large balcony in front of each villa to drink tea and rest, looking at the misty mountains in the distance, which is very comfortable. The courtyard paths meander through the well-proportioned huts, and the garden is filled with lush greenery and plants. There are mountains in the distance and water nearby. Although the artificial lake is small but exquisite, with wooden bridges on it, it has the style of Suzhou gardens. The various old objects and ornaments are particularly special and worth savoring. The owners of this home stay are a Thai couple in their fifties. They rarely speak fluent English, which makes communication much easier. The host is hospitable and takes care of every detail, making people who come from far away really feel like they are at home. It is close to Chiang Rai University and is also very close to Chiang Rai Airport. It is a place worth visiting.
