Azure Hotel Pattaya

Hello, travelers! It's hard to miss a hotel with a giant aquarium right in the restaurant. That's exactly how Azure Hotel Pattaya greets its guests – a large aquarium is literally in the middle of the restaurant and immediately becomes the main focal point. But it gets even more interesting. There's a large swimming pool and several water slides on the property. Plus, a gym, sauna, and hammam – you can have a full day of relaxation without really leaving the hotel. The rooms here are mostly similar. The shower and sink are located right in the room, while the toilet is behind a separate wall. The internet worked well, so there were no issues with that. Breakfasts are quite simple, but there's a good selection. And nearby, there's a shopping mall with a cinema, shops, and cafes. In the evening, you can head to the night market for local food. My daughter loved it—there's a water slide for kids and an aquarium to look at while dining. The room was clean, but I didn't like the open-plan bathroom with no separate partition.

The staff provided great service, always smiling and very helpful. However, the room layout is poorly designed and not suitable for anyone. During my recent stay, the restaurant also didn't match the photos—it was old and run-down. 1. The bathroom and shower area are practically right next to the bed, enclosed by glass with a sliding door that doesn't close properly. I was constantly worried water would splash out onto the bed while showering. Also, if you're staying with a friend, it's way too exposed; you have to step outside the bathroom area to get dressed. 2. The balcony glass door offers zero soundproofing. Being in the city, I get it, but of all the places I've stayed, this is unlike any other. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep almost all night—motorcycles driving by, loud music, I could hear every single sound, even street vendors arguing. It is definitely not a place to relax. 3. The swimming pool looks just like the pictures, but the water was freezing cold, to the point where my teeth were chattering.

All the staff provided great service and were lovely. The swimming pool is beautiful and even has a water slide!

The amenities are quite worn out. The room was excessively humid. We never managed to get into the restaurant; for some reason, it was never open. The aquarium is very nice, though.

The pool is great fun with a waterslide, and it's also very affordable. The room type is a bit old, but for this price, having a waterslide is already amazing. I'll definitely come back to stay again. The front desk service attitude is also very good. If possible, you can buy swimming rings or similar items beforehand.

The location is good, convenient with a convenience store nearby. The cleanliness is as expected, the bed is soft and the air conditioning is cool. Overall, I give it a 7/10. The breakfast is quite delicious!
