Grand Vista Hotel Chiangrai

The hotel was very clean and the service was great, except for a small hiccup at check-out. I had to wait for a long time, and then they claimed that some alcohol from the minibar was missing and asked me to pay for it. After checking and realizing it wasn't missing, they just said it wasn't necessary anymore, without even an apology.

First time in Chiang Rai and I picked the right hotel! The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the room was very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff and bellhops were all very friendly and provided excellent service. Breakfast was also good. The location is quite convenient, with a Big C right behind it. It's also very close to attractions like the White Temple and the night bazaar. Looking forward to staying here again!

The dinner at the restaurant was delicious and not too expensive, except for the Som Tum Roll. The sauce was too sweet; it should have been spicy and savory.

The property is currently (as of August 26th) undergoing renovation, with a lot of work being done on the front facade. The hotel is located on a main road, so reaching various points of interest requires taking transfers, and walking is difficult. The room was very spacious and modern, with a comfortable and large bed. The shower had good water pressure, but overall, the cleanliness wasn't excellent, especially in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet wasn't very extensive, but we appreciated the option to have eggs and noodles prepared upon request. The common areas of the property generally need a bit of maintenance, and the pool wasn't particularly functional either (few sun loungers and small).

The accommodation is clean, breakfast is delicious, and the service is impressive. I always stay here whenever I visit Chiang Rai.

Easy to get to, right off the main road. The room was brand new, spacious, clean, and incredible value for money. Having Netflix was a great bonus! I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Chiang Rai.

The hotel's location isn't ideal. Other than Big C next door and Central Chiang Rai across a footbridge, there's not much else around. The breakfast is quite basic with limited choices, but it's fine for a quick bite. Part of the hotel is currently under renovation, but the rooms have been refurbished.
