JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing

On a family vacation to Chongqing, we stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing. The hotel is located in the Jiefangbei business district, within walking distance of attractions like Jiefangbei and the Shancheng Embankment. It's also very convenient to take Metro Lines 1 and 2 to other sights such as Hongyan and the Three Gorges Museum. The 28th-floor executive lounge offers a wide variety of food, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. The concierge service was attentive and warm; the staff greeted us politely, and assistance from baggage handling upon arrival to travel inquiries was seamless. Jack from the concierge team was particularly helpful, providing tips for getting around the city after we checked in. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Chongqing. Thank you!

This JW Marriott is one of the worse ones I've stayed at. It might be because the hotel is a bit old, or perhaps due to the rainy and humid weather in Chongqing these past two days, but overall it wasn't a very comfortable experience. The lighting was also a bit dim.

The breakfast was delicious, and the mattress and pillows deserve a five-star rating. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jiefangbei. The Chen Pangzi Hotpot restaurant and the Jiangma Chaoshou (spicy wonton) place directly opposite the hotel are absolutely amazing, highly recommended!

Pretty good, pretty good! They have a pool which the kids absolutely loved. Breakfast was also decent, and there are tons of restaurants right across the street with plenty of choices.

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to Hongyadong, Kuixinglou, and Kuaizilou. The breakfast was also great, and the staff were very friendly to our child. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Chongqing. Oh, and our child especially loved the ice cream elevator and the complimentary ice cream!

The room was generally clean and its prime location near the city center made it convenient to get around. Upon arrival, we were greeted with peanut brittle and fruits. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, offering a good variety of both Chinese and Western options.

The bed was large and the breakfast was delicious. They provided 6 bottles of water in the room without me even asking, which was perfect given the hot weather. I ate the Chongqing noodles at breakfast for 3 nights in a row, they were so good!

The breakfast service was excellent! The staff, especially one young lady, was very proactive in helping with drinks, which was a really nice touch. Whenever I'm on a business trip to Chongqing, I always stay at the Marriott. I really love the breakfast here; it's a great way to start the day! As for other facilities, it's an older hotel, so the amenities are a bit dated but still clean. Overall, I'm satisfied! 👍
