JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing

The room was extremely clean and well-equipped with an iron, umbrella, safe, and refrigerator. The hotel environment was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the location was quite good—very close to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. Being on a high floor, the hotel offered a stunning view of Chongqing's nightscape. Highly recommended!

The service was very thoughtful, and the breakfast was delicious. They were responsive to all requests and provided friendly, smiling service. However, I think the bathroom drainage system could be improved as water tends to pool. Otherwise, everything else was comfortable and satisfactory.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! They were incredibly accommodating to all our requests and very kind to our children. Gloria from the executive lounge was so patient and had an excellent service attitude 👍. All the concierge staff were also very helpful and polite! Plus, it's a great spot for plane spotting ✈️. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. I booked an Executive King Room, and they upgraded me to a suite for free during the National Day holiday. The service quality was top-notch, thoughtful, and very friendly. The room on a high floor offered expansive views and a beautiful scenery. The room was well-equipped with all necessary items and furniture. The internal facilities were comprehensive, including a gym and a swimming pool. There was also a free lounge with afternoon tea, dinner, and cocktails. Breakfast was rich and varied, with some unique specialties. Overall, it was a pleasant and satisfying stay.

The location is central, and almost all major attractions are within walking distance. On holidays, breakfast is served until 1 PM, which is incredibly thoughtful! The service is excellent!

We booked four rooms for four people. The day before our arrival, the hotel called to ask if we had any special requests. I told them we'd prefer all four rooms to be on the same floor and that we might arrive early. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel upgraded us directly to a vice-presidential suite! It was huge, allowing our group to stay together without disturbing each other. It was truly excellent, a very pleasant trip!

This time, to visit Chongqing with my son, choosing the JW Marriott was absolutely the right decision. From the geographic location to the hotel environment and service, everything was top-notch. I want to especially thank all the staff at the Concierge Department. One night, I came back intoxicated, and several colleagues from the concierge department personally escorted me back to my room. This hotel's concierge service is undoubtedly the best I've ever encountered and definitely deserves recognition from the hotel management. Every day, come rain or shine, they are outside, greeting guests with a smile, making everyone feel right at home. It's truly exceptional! Additionally, the front desk and housekeeping services are also first-class. I've even written positive comments with pictures.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to popular attractions. Right downstairs is the former site of Xinhua Daily, and there are plenty of hotpot and skewer restaurants nearby, as well as newly renovated Republic of China-style streets with unique eateries. Perhaps due to the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, there were many foreign guests staying at the hotel; at breakfast, I felt like I was abroad. The hotel's Western food is quite good, and the variety of breads, pastries, and cheeses offered at breakfast are of high quality, suitable for guests who can't handle spicy food.
