Econo Lodge Lee - Great Barrington

This place hasn't had maintenance at all. The bathroom is disappointing; door doesn't close well, walls are dirty and have holes, the bathtub was dirty and stained, the curtain, that apparently used to be white, is now yellow and had a big hole and the toilet seat kept sliding. Old , yellowish and stinky towels. Gave us short supplies, had to ask for more. In conclusion, I don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else

GFI in bathroom was inoperative. Room had no Smoke detector. Bathroom exhaust seemed to be blocked. Bathroom door does not close. Main entry door hits the floor. Overall conditions seemed to be shabby.

It was in a good location. We paid a very high price due to a concert at Tanglewood. I imagine the rooms were very dated but clean. We were given a bottle of wine and a little gift bag with goodies , which was very nice . They really should update the rooms and the outside of the building.

This Econolodge has an excellent location. For a very reasonable price, you are close to all the culture of Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires and you have Lake Laurel and October Mountain a short distance away. It's on a main road, so it's very easy to get where you're going, but traffic at night is minimal, so it's easy to get a peaceful rest. The basic amenities are very good: reliable wifi, tv with many cable channels, and a continental breakfast. It's not luxurious, but it's a great value. Spend your money on a fancy restaurant or Tanglewood tickets and just crash here!

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff very nice. Room comfortable. Breakfast was service station breakfast.

All very clean and the manager was very helpful when asked for assistance.

Very clean. Very comfortable. Fifties era motel. It's our motel of choice when we visit Stockbridge two or three times a year.

We stopped for just a few hours to sleep, but came in after midnight. The gentleman at the desk was incredibly accommodating with waiting for us to check in. The bed was surprisingly way more comfortable than other more expensive hotels we’ve stayed in and the room was very clean. Water pressure for the shower was great and there was a reasonable continental breakfast available upon checkout.

The Good: The room was clean and well-organized, and the front desk staff was very courteous. The breakfast was exactly as advertised: a standard continental spread of packaged muffins, cereal, toast, and bagels, along with fresh apples, oranges, and a variety of beverages (juice, coffee, milk, and tea). The Reality (Accessibility Concerns): Please pay close attention to the fine print on this property. Despite being advertised as ADA accessible, it is not. Entry Issues: All ground-level rooms require a step up onto a sidewalk and another step into the room. If you use a wheelchair or walker, you have to go to the main entrance for a ramp and then navigate back to your room from the outside. Interior Barriers: The doorways inside the room are not wide enough for a walker, let alone a wheelchair. Bathroom Safety: There are no walk-in or low-threshold showers available in any of the rooms. No grab bars in or around the shower or toilet. Bottom Line: If you have mobility needs, do not rely on the "accessible" label for this hotel. It is functionally inaccessible for those using mobility aids.
