Extended Stay America Suites - Boston - Waltham - 52 4th Ave

This place needs serious attention. We walked into a smelling room and a dirty barroom. There were spots in the bathtub which we thought were permanent marks but vanished after we took a shower. The booking said a Fully-equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stovetop and microwave. Sadly, there was not even a cup, spoon or Plate in the So called Fully-equipped kitchen. Absolutely nothing. When we called the front desk, we were told they do not have more kitchen items as it's a first come first serve basis availability. We left the hotel the following morning and booked into another hotel. Never again

It’s a good location, with bigger brands like Westin, Courtyard all close-by. Unfortunately, this property is badly maintained and managed. Service is virtually nonexistent. The bathroom has a broken fan, the room has a strong stale smell. I wouldn’t it at all! The management needs some serious reflections on how to improve!

Absolutely gorgeous

I am extremely disappointed with our stay at this property. We checked in late at night around 11 PM with our kids already asleep, only to discover that the room was dirty, unprepared, and clearly not ready for guests. There were no other rooms available, and instead of receiving proper assistance, I ended up having to change two queen bed sheets myself. This is absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic — a disgusting experience, especially when traveling with children. To make things worse, the hotel advertised breakfast amenities, but the reality was completely different. They only offered grab‑and‑go coffee and cupcakes, nothing like what was listed. This was misleading and added to the overall frustration of our stay. For the price and expectations, this property failed on every basic level: cleanliness, readiness, honesty, and customer service. I would not recommend staying here until they seriously improve their standards.

Have stayed at this property in the past. Stayed in the newer building I'm assuming. Much nicer this time around . Very clean and quiet . Staff was very pleasant .

Hotel was filthy. Entire hotel stunk. Just awful smell once you walk in. Room had molds, previous guest/tenant trash, cat food, dog food, pots and pans. Broken and dirty furnitures, dried up throw-up in the stairwell, trash in the hallway. The worst hotel experience I have ever had. This is coming from an immigrant from a third world country. We only slept there because customer service wouldn’t move us without a fee. The over night manager was very apologetic. That was the best part of the stay.

Property is being renovated and it needs it. Queen size bed seemed more like a full. Breakfast is packaged muffins and instant oatmeal.

My boyfriend and myself have stayed here a few times before. I would like to point out that this time around was an excellent stay all because of Jessica. I believe she is the supervisor of both extended stay properties in Waltham, MA. She went above and beyond to help in any area possible. She was always there when we needed her. I'm not kidding when I say she is the most accommodating and caring employee in this business industry I've ever come across. If I can give her five stars I'd give ten. Thank you for all your help Jessica! We will be back!
