A lovely gem in the quieter part of French Riviera. The accommodation and amenities were great paired with top notch service by their staff, who were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

The hotel upgraded me to a pool suite, which was a huge surprise. It was a pity that I only stayed for two nights! The swimming pool is heated and comfortable. You can swim while watching the sea and the woods and listening to the birds. The room is comfortable and the design of the living room is chic and cozy. The hotel has a long and memorable history, as well as a huge garden and a large pool club by the sea. There are two Michelin restaurants. The grand narrative is full of delicate and hidden emotional atmosphere, which is suitable for staying for ten days or half a month. I will come again next time and bring my family with me.

Great location of the hotel, delicious breakfasts, beautiful gardens and nature... But lunch in the restaurant was terrible(((burger tasteless, dessert most mediocre(((what As far as hygiene supplies are concerned, there is nothing in the room (you have to ask for a toothbrush, toothpaste, bath salts and razors) only 1 restaurant is open 🍽️ which is really very few for such a hotel…

We were staying in room #6 - which is realistically a utility closet. Right by the service elevator, service cart parked in front of the door all day. The banging of the service cart against the wall was my daily wake up call - 6:30am sharp. The only bathroom amenities you get are q-tips and make-up pads; no loofa, no tooth brush, no nail file, no baths salts - as there is no bath tub. :) and robes had holes. Mind you, in season this room/closet is close to $4000 per night. But in all fairness, this one is on me, I guess as I should have checked; It simply did not occur to me that this particular hotel would have such mediocre rooms. I became nothing but aggravated with a staff member who, as my husband was checking out, said: we tried to find you in the hotel to offer you another room, but you were nowhere to be found. Really,? 2 hours at breakfast every day, then an hour in the library playing cards as we could not do so on the room and then again in the lobby for a couple of hours in the evening. Also, in room 6 and possibly by using the recommended by the hotel communication method, WhatsApp. Grrrr…. I am too old for this. The location of this hotel is unsurpassed. The views are amazing. The grounds immaculate. The breakfast is very nice, under the canopy of trees. There is also a very nice pool and spa. We tried to spend most of our time in the lobby sitting over the AC vent as the lobby was so poorly air conditioned we sweated bullets,; our cold room was simply too small for both of us to sit down. It had one chair. No table or desk. Door from hallway opened straight onto the bed. Don’t count on a drink in the lobby or at the bar. The minibar will be restocked daily… maybe. The turn down service will happen - possibly…. You may or may not get milk/creamer for your coffee. A gentle nudge at the reception will not do a thing other than an attempt to let you know upon checkout that they “tried”. But, on an a positive note - the concierge was great. Truly helpful. I was hoping for a much better experience.

There are luxury hotels, and then there is the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. This historic Belle Époque palace managed by Four Seasons is the absolute gold standard for European coastal luxury. From the moment you drive down the pine-fringed driveway and step into the bright, pristine white marble lobby, you are completely transported into a world of timeless sophistication and serene isolation. The Rooms and Ground Layout: The accommodations are a flawless blend of classic French Riviera style and understated modern opulence. The interiors are incredibly bright, decorated with elegant pastel accents, rare marble bathrooms, and ultra-premium furnishings. Whether you book a Palace sea-view room or one of the newer suites featuring a private plunge pool, the attention to comfort—down to the signature Four Seasons bedding—is immaculate. The true magic, however, lies in the 17 acres of impeccably manicured gardens that surround the property, offering a peaceful, private sanctuary where the scent of pine and sea salt fills the air. The Pool Club and Dining: A stay here is completely anchored by the legendary Club Dauphin. Reached via a private glass funicular that glides down the cliffside, the club features one of the most famous 33-meter heated seawater infinity pools in the world. Spending a day lounging in a private seaside cabana with flawless waiter service looking out over the turquoise Mediterranean is an experience that cannot be replicated. Dining is equally spectacular. Breakfast on the open-air terrace of La Véranda is a daily highlight, particularly the legendary, flaky pastries. For dinner, the Michelin-starred cuisine celebrates the absolute best of fresh, hyper-local Provençal ingredients, many sourced directly from the hotel's own estate gardens. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat isn't just a place to sleep; it’s a legendary destination that makes you feel like the protagonist in an old-world Hollywood film. It is worth every single euro.

The good: location is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Our arrival was flawless with a gracious and helpful staff. Front desk team is amazing! The room was very nice, and the beds are indeed heavenly. Service at the pool on our first day was exemplary. Everything perfect. The bad: Housekeeping was average. They offered to make our king bed into two twins, but that never happened. Nothing special at turndown. Concierge service very disappointing. Other than arranging airport transfers, they’re not very help. They recommend an absolutely awful beach club and private water taxi service Sadly, day 2 at the pool was also very disappointing. Drinks were melted by the time they got to us. Extremely limited food menu and a level of service I’d expect at a Hilton Garden Inn. Perhaps the hotel should stop selling day passes so they can better attend to guests paying $3k plus per night. Walls are very thin the rooms. The front desk called us at 11pm because of a noise complaint due to us talking at a normal volume (vs. whispering). The food is average, at best. Again, very limited menus and no casual dining options (other than room service). Also, no courtesy shuttle to take guests to the port, which is only 8-10 minutes away (vs. a hot and long 30 minute walk). Overall, great location, inconsistent service, and poor value for the money.

Four Seasons Grand Cap Ferrat is most definitely the finest hotel I have ever visited. It is incomparable to even the Plaza Athenee or similar top tier establishments. I am about to check out and don’t want to leave. The hotel is perched on the Cap, with absolutely breathtaking views and facilities. Club Dauphin, headed by the expertise of the wonderful, extremely friendly, and welcoming Johann is the highlight of the hotel. Matthias and Tommy were also fabulous at Club Dauphin. Special shoutout to Loane at La Veranda. You are the sweetest, kindest, most professional young woman. We really enjoyed spending time with you. And special thanks to Alexandra at reception. You welcomed us so warmly upon our arrival and continued to be a breath of fresh air throughout our stay. Four Seasons Grand Cap Ferrat is gorgeous, sophisticated, and one of a kind. But it is also extremely friendly, both the staff and the guests. We felt completely at home. It is full of real people and families from all over the world. Such a pleasure! We can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a phenomenal vacation.
