The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali

The Westin Hotel – let's start with the pros: 1. Excellent service: When I called for more drinking water, it was delivered instantly. Breakfast never had a queue, and empty plates were cleared right away. 2. Great beach: The sand is fine, and after high tide, there are large tide pools and shallow areas exposed. The beach is also quite wide. 3. Convenient location: It's very close to Bali Collection and Sogo, making it easy to walk for shopping and dining. 4. Well-designed bathroom: The layout is quite practical and convenient to use. 5. Fantastic pools: There are lively areas and quieter spots, which kept my kids very happy. 6. Delicious breakfast: Compared to the Hilton, The Westin's pastries and dishes were much tastier. Cons: The room size is a bit small, and the bed is quite close to the door due to the room layout. This means noises from outside the room in the morning are quite audible inside.

Overall, it's a great hotel with a lovely environment. Although the room we booked wasn't available, they upgraded us to a king-size bed room and added a small bed for free. The beach here is pretty good, and the waves aren't too strong. The kids loved the pool, and breakfast was also excellent.

Managed by a hotel group, the staff are very enthusiastic. This resort-style hotel is a great choice for a relaxing getaway. You can enjoy the beach and pool without even leaving the hotel, and the scenery is beautiful. You can also cycle along the coast. It's a really good place.

Good hotel overall. The breakfasts were great, and the rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the grounds, though small, were beautiful. There's a small gym, ping-pong, a pool, and a restaurant. Housekeeping was good. For us, a minor inconvenience (not critical) was the lack of on-site parking for cars. However, there's a concierge service that will take your car to a parking lot and bring it back, which is convenient, though you do need to factor in some extra time. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's quite a distance from the sea. Without a scooter or car, I think it would be impossible to get around there, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. In the evenings, they had themed barbecue nights with different global cuisines, which was convenient as you could eat without leaving the hotel.
