San Luis Inn and Suites

Motel location is nice and close to downtown. However, you do get some freeway noise.

I made a reservation and had to cancel. I called to cancel less than 10 minutes after making the reservation. When I called they said that since I made the reservation through a third party I needed to go through them. No problem. I called TripAdvisor let them know and they contacted this place. They were told that they weren't going to refund my money. TripAdvisor called me asked me some more questions and then contacted the motel again. That is when they said Well it's not refundable. Funny because when I called and spoke to the lady at the front desk she didn't say anything about that she just said talk to the third party company. Looking at the reviews this place looks to have a history of taking money and not giving the service, i.e., a room. I should have been smarter and used my credit card instead of my debit card so that I wouldn't have had an issue. I have filed a complaint with my bank. Thankfully my cousin and her husband who would also booked rooms use their credit card and they canceled immediately upon hearing what happened to me. Stay away from this dump at all costs.

Very poor service. Hair dryer is out of order and hotel receptionist does not replace a good one. We want additional blankets but the hotel does not accept our request. We will not recommend this hotel.

The room was clean but old... cracked chipping paint... cigarette burn hole in the comforter... NOT what I would want to pay $200 a night for... at that price I won't go there again!

The staff was very welcoming. The room needed some cosmetic work, but did the trick. This time around it was quiet.

I truly loved the room the bed was comfortable it was in a great location. The gentleman at the front desk was always polite. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a decent priced well kept hotel.

The room was clean. Had a pretty quiet night, just a couple of car alarms went off. Had to park out on the street because the lot was full. Nothing bad, nothing great, just OK for the price

Clean room and we checked in near midnight and the clerk answered the bell; everything was quick.

The staff were excellent! The room was decent, do not expect anything modern or over-the-top. But provided everything and was comfortable for two people (we had a 1king bed room). There were some issues at check-in (which were entirely my own fault) that the staff were very patient and flexible with. Props to them. The area surrounding the Inn is filled with run-down inns or motels, but the block itself is 2 exits away from downtown or any convenient store. Again, overall 5 stars because you get exactly what you pay for, and nothing less.
