San Luis Inn and Suites

I made a reservation and had to cancel. I called to cancel less than 10 minutes after making the reservation. When I called they said that since I made the reservation through a third party I needed to go through them. No problem. I called TripAdvisor let them know and they contacted this place. They were told that they weren't going to refund my money. TripAdvisor called me asked me some more questions and then contacted the motel again. That is when they said Well it's not refundable. Funny because when I called and spoke to the lady at the front desk she didn't say anything about that she just said talk to the third party company. Looking at the reviews this place looks to have a history of taking money and not giving the service, i.e., a room. I should have been smarter and used my credit card instead of my debit card so that I wouldn't have had an issue. I have filed a complaint with my bank. Thankfully my cousin and her husband who would also booked rooms use their credit card and they canceled immediately upon hearing what happened to me. Stay away from this dump at all costs.

Very poor service. Hair dryer is out of order and hotel receptionist does not replace a good one. We want additional blankets but the hotel does not accept our request. We will not recommend this hotel.

It was worst. Bed and chair were dirty I never sleep at there.

There was a chair in the swimming pool for a couple days. I didn't feel like I could swim in the pool.

Our room looked like the fire sprinklers had gone off and everything was just painted over. While taking shower I thought the handles would for sure fall I ff in my hand.

Ok place The hotel is kind of rundown. There is a lot of homeless people that live in the area. The room itself was clean. They didn’t offer much for TV. A lot of leaking air conditioners. There was a homeless in Camp right behind the building. I was staying in so I was a little nervous about my car being in the parking lot although it is lit up like Fort Knox at night. If you’re just looking for a place to stay quick one night it’s doable but could use some cleaning and upgrading. I found the sign to enter The pool was quite funny.
