Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this place. If I knew before how peaceful and lovely this place is, I would have been there longer. The host Dai was really friendly and showed us the surrounding right after arriving at his place. He gave us valuable tips concerning our upcoming train connection and even accompanied us to the public bus the next day. The room was lovely furnished and we slept like babies. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing stay. The kitchen was well equipped. If I am going to visit Tono again I would definitely stay at this place.

Incredibly beautiful tradional japanese house. The host, dai treated us like family and upon arriving we took a walk to the local shrine which was only 100 steps away. Dai also helped us set up a campfire and even ran us and outdoor bath!. If im ever back in Tono I am most definitely retuning!

The surroundings are beautiful, and the traditional Japanese house provided an authentic and peaceful retreat. I highly recommend Lien Tono for anyone seeking a unique and tranquil getaway.

What a wonderful experience. A beautiful Japanese house with a very clean and comfortable room. A beautiful shrine up a lovely path. The host is fantastic and speaks excellent English. He is also a wonderful cook. An incredible experience in rural Japan. Not to be missed.
