Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street)

The location is truly excellent, right on Taiping Old Street. The room was also very clean and incredibly convenient. From the balcony, you can directly see the old street, and finding places to eat is super easy. They even provide a travel guide, which is a thoughtful touch!

Right in Taiping Old Street, super convenient to Pozi Street, Jiefang West, and Wuyi Square. Lots of trendy eateries nearby! The balcony view from the room is also fantastic.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to any attraction. It's also very near the entrance to Taiping Street, so I didn't have to worry about dragging my luggage on the cobblestone streets. The day before check-in, they proactively contacted me to confirm my details and sent a guide, which was incredibly thoughtful. The mattress was comfortable – perfect for recovering after a long day of walking. Although it's on a main street, it wasn't noisy before bed. I loved it, and I'll definitely be back!

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the entrance of Taiping Old Street, though the actual entrance is a bit hidden down an alley off the main street. The facilities feel more like a guesthouse, with the front desk on the second floor. The light switches in the room are incredibly counter-intuitive; there are no labels whatsoever, so you never know which switch to use to turn off the lights.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, tucked away in a small alley just to the left of the entrance to Taiping Street. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Xiangjiang Middle Road Metro Station on Line 2, and even as a solo female traveler with luggage, I found it incredibly easy to get to. Right across the street, there's amazing Changsha stinky tofu, and the giant sausage is also surprisingly delicious. The night market in the evenings is brilliant for a stroll. It's also close to Wuyi Square, the Xiangjiang River, and various attractions. Orange Isle is just one metro stop away, and other sights are easily accessible by metro too. A special mention goes to the Chayan Yuese tea shop nearby, located on the upper floor of a bookstore. The blend of tea aroma and book scent, along with the peaceful atmosphere, was truly delightful. Plus, because I was on a business trip and hadn't had a chance to do laundry, the hotel's laundry service was an absolute lifesaver!

The hotel is tucked away in an alley right in the heart of the old town, offering a charmingly quaint and elegant atmosphere. My room had a lovely little balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a smoke while gazing out at the historic old buildings in the distance.

Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and it's super close to Wuyi Square, IFS, and Orange Isle. The best part is, there are tons of amazing food options right outside the door! You don't even need to consult a guide; all the popular places recommended in guides are always packed with people anyway.🤣

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are spotless, and the beds are just the right firmness for a great night's sleep. The staff are attentive and patient. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations – highly recommended! The general ambiance is warm and grand, and the public areas are clean and odor-free. The room had good natural light, and the toiletries and appliances were all in perfect working order. The soundproofing was also decent, so I felt very secure during my stay. The front desk lady was also very friendly.

The room was great, and the location was super convenient with all the food downstairs, which was a huge plus! I thought it might be noisy, but it was surprisingly quiet – really good soundproofing. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time.
