Ramada Bell Tower Hotel Xi'an

It was a pleasant stay with the very reasonable price with breakfast provided. But what it shocked us was the room we requested is FULLY NON SMOKING ROOM and the signage display a non smoking room level, you still can smell heavy cigarettes on the floor, even you can spot the cigarette smoke under the light clearly. I think the hotel caters the group tours and the local guests were arranged on the same floor and they open their doors and fully, chi-chatting to next door loudly and smoking in the same time with fully ignoring the signage warning. This is the only unpleasant way with our experience on staying 2 nights here. Oh ya, by the way the hotel should limit the tour agent on hard selling their local package tour to the guests too repetitive. We have arranged our tour and told them all were booked in advanced, but their hard sell attitude has annoyed us many times while entering or exiting the hotel. The breakfast is nice.

Great hotel and staff that even offers tours for the terrakotta army. It was located in the city center near the bell tower, drum tower and the big market run by the hui people
